    Hi all ,

Will really appreciate if anybody can share a thought guys !!!

    Small breakdown about myself:
I am 25 y.o leaving in London for the last 5 years originally from Eastern Europe.
Been a professional wrestler in the past but for the last 5 years I am in love with boxing.
I went to work through a range of different industries like Real Estate ; Hospitality .
I was progressing but did not feel like that’s what I want to do .
Having connections in the youth sport schools back home (post Soviet area) ,
I’ve decided that box manager is the type of job in perfect balance with my life aspirations.
Also because there's plenty of guys out there which work really hard and the world must know them.
Currently I am in the process of applying for a trainer license which I have to hold for 3 years before I can apply for manager license.
Before then I would like to polish my self with experience and knowledge.
Was wondering if you can give me an advice regarding what path should I take ?
Should I start working in some sort of media company or start in recruitment ?
Is there a company you can recommend ?

Working in big companies I’ve experienced on my own skin that it could be difficult to gain a wide range of experience and skills working in such format.
So I just want to invest my time and energy in the most efficient way.

I would like to mention that I am very hard working and open to sacrifice of any range.
Also I am willing to work for free.

    Best regards,
    Chris

I can’t help you much, but you might have more luck posting in the boxing training forum (3 down from classic). Either way good luck

Point taken but C'mon Morlocks give the guy more direction than that .. the cold water on the warm dream you give Markant everyday is way more appropriate, lol

Go to the gyms, go to the fights, get around boxing guys and get to know them. Pay attention to what goes on around you, ask questions, watch listen and learn. Everybody starts some place.

    Simultaneously, meet guys with money.

If you go to the Boxing Training forum as mentioned above (between British Boxing and MMA Forum on the dropdowns), you’ll find near the top a thread from a boxing manager in the U.S. who says ‘ask me anything.’

    1) Read all 100-plus posts. You’ll find a wealth of information.

    2) AFTER doing that, and absorbing it, start asking questions.

Like everyone said, boxing training is a better forum for this. That being said, I'm gonna have to agree with Morlocks, if you're going to be a trainer, you need to know what you're doing, or else you could get someone hurt. First of all, I'd suggest actually being trained and fighting. You don't necessarily need to be a pro, but even some amateur experience is good. Then, if you train good fighters, you can build up a reputation that'll help you into becoming a manager. Hope this helps, here's a more in-depth video on training.

I've done professional judo for 10 years with some pretty good results.
In parallel I was doing Sambo and did compete in the same sport.
In the last 5 years I was doing amateur mma (with MVP if you know who he is) and currently doing boxing for nearly a year now in a well known gym . So I have pretty decent understanding about the sport as a whole , not very qualified in boxing yet so that's why I want to learn and scout potential talents which are located in very though parts of the world and don't have too many chances in life.

I've just tried to be brief in my 1st message maybe been miss-understood for doing this.
    Appreciate your advice though.
