In all seriousness what makes Mayweather greater/better than Calzaghe p4p

Yawn. Floyd ranks ahead of Pacquiao ANYDAY. This would mean Calzaghe > Pacquiao!!!

Pacquiao got his butt whipped by Marquez FOUR TIMES and got his ass beat by Mayweather, JR!!! 0 fighters beaten in their primes etc!

 

Mayweather moved up way more weight classes.

I don't know it is possible to say it with respectful way but mate you are way off. And you wanted a good conversation but it seems you get annoyed pretty easily so hopefully we will get along. Cap between Floyd's and Calzaghe's resume is so big that its not even easy to start this.

So I say only couple of things now.

Kessler is a good win for sure but Kessler's resume before Calzaghe was very very thin. His best victory was like Anthony freaking Mundine?
How is this better victory than any Mayweather's..? Thats just crazy thing to say. He was in his prime yes but Kessler's record was NOTHING at the time.

Joe 2 division champ.


And also there are those little things: Calzaghe getting dropped by two grandpas, Hopkins and Roy. Thats just something that would never happen with Floyd. Could you see Floyd being dropped by some ancient fighter?

Mayweather's resume is FAAAAARRR better than Joe C's... it's not even really close.

 

FMJ may have missed a few big fights..... But he still had a lot of big fights... Unlike Calzaghe who had almost zero big fights.

What do I mean by a "big fight"? I mean a fight between 2 world class prime fighters or even just a fight where either guy can win.

You must have some kind of insecurity about Pac. Maybe its because you in your heart know that Pac ranks higher overall. Yeah, that must be it. Dont deny it.

yea thats the thing again the reasons you dont lists mayweather higher than joe is for stuff outside of the ring. in other words on moral gounds. Boxing is not moral playground. its about what goes inside the ring so try to get with the program. this is a boxing forum not a place to see how good a fighter is outside of the ring , but inside of the ring . for ring magazine yes, which has very little weight nor had for a long time. A magazine shouldnt.

There were 4 titlists at the time, all of whom, and their shared contenders were more relevant than joe at LH.

 

It's irrefutable that Floyd ranks higher, and most people have it that way. Deal with it!
