The General Forum has the stupidest, most biased posters. I don't think many of them didn't even know what boxing was 5 years ago. It's a young generation of hero worshippers.
I am 42 and have been watching boxing since I was 4 years old 'Dad they just threw a bottle at his bald head!'.
Eh, I don't pick either to beat Liston, in fact quite the opposite I pick Liston to beat both by devastating KO, and considering there scared of eachother then they'll be terrified of Liston
Lebron is pretty obviously in the realm of Jordan. He is a freak your “eye test” should have figured that one out!
I agree with Canelo. Put him at MW in any era and he would be a force. Aj on the other hand is better than you make him out to be. It's so easy to hate on todays HW division because so few people will disagree but the truth is Joshua and Fury would be trouble for anyone in history. Wilder on the other hand is the type of fighter who could either beat a few top guys based off his attributes alone or get totally outclassed by a stylistic nightmare, of which there are many.
And this is one of the main reasons that certain fighters aren't rated properly. GOAT and ATG are thrown around too often. If no one made absurd statements about certain fighters being able to dominate everyone, we'd simply enjoy boxing and rate fighters properly and have good discussions. Instead it leads to a huge **** storm because now the other people feel like the need to go a bit overboard just to make those certain people feel stupid.
That's not trolling, that's a fact. They have the ability to deliver that power on any fighter past or present and that power would truly be a problem.
Disagree. I think AJ is a legit force in any era. I think Spence gives everyone but Mayweather and maybe Pac, hell... from the last 15 years or so. Which speaks for itself. Canelo is solid, but I actually think he does worse in other eras at middleweight. His skills are very nice but I just think he's too small and I think that will show against Jacobs. If he proves me wrong and beats Jacobs I will start regarding him as a true middleweight force that could compete in past eras.
