The DAZN offer was 100 for 3 or 120 for 4 fights, if i remember correctly. So he's going to get at least that for fighting Breazale and who? Arreola, Wlad, Ortiz?

I highly doubt this. Probably just talk to make the duck of AJ seeem not as bad as it is. Something Showtime have an interest to go along with in the short term. But even if it somehow came to pass it would still be taking on nothing fights instead of legacy fights, it would still be a huge duck.

100 million for 3 fights? Top fighters are sure getting a lot now. but it is not helping boxing if they avoid the big fights.

So to clarify the OP is glad that Wilder can earn big bucks without fighting the consensus best two guys of the era.

Why should he get paid the same if he’s not fighting the best opponents in his division.

One thing I will say though is fair play for not putting breazeale fight on ppv they know it would of bombed but it hasn’t stopped other people before who have put fights on ppv that everybody and the mother knew would bomb.

Joshua and Fury are getting comparable dollars for not fighting the best opponents in the division ... and they aren't the MOST FAMOUS BOXER IN THE WORLD.

Honestly it’s money talk that’s stopping the big 3 from fighting each other anytime in the near future and I don’t like it.. The HW division is quacking right now and the night as well just do away with sanctioning body belts and crown their own champion.. Right now Fury is the ESPN HW Champion, Wilder is the PBC HW Champion and AJ is the DAZN HW Champion.. this sucks for us boxing fans so I’m not excited about neither of their deals

I assume their budget is for non-PPV events. You don't need to budget for events that cover their own costs. That is, unless you think Wilder PPVs will start to make a loss moving forward.

I think ESPN and Showtime are offering these deals to Wilder & Fury knowing the rematch is coming. How they figure out the co-promotion will be for them to decide but I'd be pretty sure both networks will be pushing for it.

    This whole circus is hilarious!

Even the promotional companies know that Wilder wants no part of Joshua.
By the time that he knocks out a couple of top 15-20 no names, even the casuals won't want to spend PPV $ on Wilder.
