Is Wilder seriously going to get a pass for passing up a 120 million dollar, 3 fight deal?

I am quite simply astounded! AJ gets absolutely deep fried for turning down a BULLSHITE 50 million dollar deal that he was never in a position to take due to no end of contract breaches and now we have Wilder who seems to be getting a pass, relatively speaking for turning down not 100, but in fact a 120 million dollar, 3 fight deal.........WT actual F**K!

To the more knowledgeable of you out there, please explain.

AJ asked for $50mn and said he would take the fight if it was offered. AJ then turned down $80mn to make MUCH LESS money on DAZN with 16,000 people watching. AJ is a free agent and not tied to DAZN so nothing was stopping him from taking the offer he asked for.

Wilder turned down DAZN as he claims he can get much more for easier fights on a legit network with actual viewers. Not sure if he's right but that's his belief whereas AJ knew he would get paid MUCH LESS when he turned down the offer he asked for with no valid explanation.

Hope that's helped clear up your confusion but please let me know if you have any further queries. As a more knowledgeable poster I'm always happy to help in these situations.

    Wilder does seem overly selective.

He stepped up against old man Ortiz and 3-year-hiatus Fury, but is just too comfortable padding his record with barely-gatekeeper fights.

He's 31/32. These fights should simply not be happening now!

No-one on this planet with any sense want to see him square off Breazeale!!

What he need now is a 3 fight British tour-de-force:

    Whyte
    Joshua
    Fury (rematch).

Could probably earn $200 million from that. And achieve greatness!

If you spend more than 3 seconds on this forum, you would see that he is not getting a pass at all.

There was something stopping it. A little thing people call business meetings or contracts. Not some email from Wilder promising $50 mil. Thats now how business is done in the real world.

Now in the real world AJ is getting $35 mil to fight Miller. Wilder will be lucky to make $5 mil vs Breazeale.

Sometimes a boxer needs to be stripped, defeated,or leave the division so he won't stall negotiations and so the division can move forward.

To be fair to wilder holds the chips in his favour, he is the key to America and DAZN know that and so do ESPN. I think he is leveraging this, with that being said that is a lot of money and as a fan I want to see the fight so I wanted him take it.

TBV, LDBC and all the other Wilder fanbois are still defending this absolute fool who can't box for shite and doesn't deserve 12 million, let alone 120 million. They're saying that Wilder vs AJ trumps Mayweather/Pacquiao and Mayweather /Macgregor. Nestor on TBV needs ****ing shooting with all the **** he comes out with.

Wilder/ AJ is a huge fight but to say that Wilder will make more than 120 million if it's on PPV is a an absolute ****ing joke. This is a duck by Wilder, plain and simple and totally indefensible. Wilder needs to be either KTFO or stripped.

The only request from AJ in response to the offer he asked for was a full contract. This was insane as contracts are only drawn up once terms are accepted. AJ had the terms and he refused to accept them. He has never given a genuine reason for this. He only said he didn't believe Al Haymon can afford to pay a fighter the money he says he will, even though Haymon has no history that would legitimise such a claim.

Sad really, but at least we got to see Wilder-Fury because of AJ's duck :D

The absolute fools on here for think AJ turned down 50 million, so deluded. NO CONTRACT EVER SENT. Wilders own team have now said it was Wilder who sent a two line email.
