Shirley Winkel after presser with youtube losers " [interrupts Wilder] Let me answer that....When he [Wilder] KOs Joshua we want millions of people to see it and DAZN doesn't have millions of subscribers"

Does this tell you how smart these "advisors" are. He's sold to Wilder that he will KO AJ in front of millions and it will make him more than $120m guarantee in 3 fights?

I think highest possible revenue (if built correctly /highly optimistic) could make $100million on SHO PPV/ Sky PPV combined + $20m on gate, in Vegas. After everyone takes their cut he's struggling to get the $40m guaranteed. Eddie Hearn says fighter pot is realistically $80m.

What is Shirly and Al Haymon game? Keep Sho in boxing business as they want those 1 million undisputed PPV buys @ $100 or just that DAZN do not kill the PPV model?

That peanut headed chicken **** ***** of a manager should be banned from being allowed to say the name Anthony Joshua. Finkel and Haymon have ruined this for everybody and i include Wilder himself in this, hes been royally shafted by his own people here, but hes just way to dumb to realize it. The PBC have **** on everybody here. I dont want to hear his excuses for why him and his fighter didnt take this fight. There has already been about 6 or 7. When you have a good excuse you only need one. When you are desperately trying to blag people with tall tales to try get the heat took off you then you come out with a number of excuses. Just like Wilder when Fury beat him and just like now, the excuses are flooding out from Finkel right now.

Its a duck, we all know it id rather Finkel and Wilder just shut up about Joshua and got on with what they plan to do instead.

It's just a pathetic excuse to get out of the fight.

How can you claim you want millions to see it when you're guy sold 325k ppv buys in his last fight.

Reality check millions ain't buying Wilder on ppv.

Surely if millions would be willing to pay $75 on PPV, those same millions would be prepared to subscribe to DAZN and watch the fight for free.

Don't be silly. Team Wilder doesn't get logic.

Surely if his such a huge star as they like to think people will be desperate to saw him fight AJ and will pay.

So they are basically saying they can't put it on PPV either because there's no way that gives them millions of viewers.

edit: I don't type fast enough I see.

Well Wilder himself said only yesterday that even though he feels the Breazeale fight is PPV worthy he himself personally wanted it on normal Showtime because he was doing it for the fans and didnt want to see them out of pocket. But at the same time he refused to take the fight on DAZN for a maximum of $9.99 and the Josuha fights because on a high priced Showtime PPV he could make even more millions than DAZN was offering him.

How does KO'ing AJ kill matchroom? Let alone matchroom Boxing with their enormous unrivalled stable? If AJ v Wilder was compelling and dramatic but Wilder KO'ed AJ the return would be HUUUGGE money. Obviously anyone with a modicum of intelligence must look at how awful Deontay is technically and know he gets KO'ed by AJ easily. I hope Breazeale KO's Wilder and gets $20 to fight AJ on DAZN. Then Hearn will offer Wilder $15 for a voluntary when he asks for his $100m without a ****ing belt. I thought these jokers played a blinder to get the DAZN deal he doesn't deserve, he'll never ever ever get a better deal. He's a good guy surrounded by sharks in Finkel and Haymon. Imagine turning that deal down and fighting Breazeale and Arreola next for $20million a piece...?

He knows Wilder thinks more people will buy an 80 dollars PPV then a 10 dollar App and somehow it out does the guarantee money from Dazn?

He convinced a dim wit that he makes more money without AJ in the long run , which will be a short run it he trips in his next fight which any real fan of boxing should wish for at this point. :laufband:

Well I can easily reject that nonsense of a statement. If people are really THAT INTERESTED then they will be happy to go over to DAZN. And I'm sure those people in particular will do that. If they don't, then they aren't genuinely interested in the fight. It's as simple as that.

You don't need millions of people. You just need the RIGHT people to watch it. And those people will be perfectly happy to go to DAZN. The only other reason you would want millions of people is what? Oh...MONEY. Wait...money? Weren't they already offered 100 million to fight on DAZN?

They have no way out of this. THEY ARE DUCKING. There doesn't have to be millions of random casuals watching. There just has to be real fans watching.

It's hard to believe Eddie's $80mn estimate as he's never promoted a single mega-fight in boxing. His biggest UK events generating nothing close to what a big US PPV would. He has never put on a US PPV event so we can only assume he is basing his opinion on second hand information and whatever he can scam out of DAZN. Eddie's "Empire" currently consists of a dwindling business with Sky in the UK and 16,000 subs in the US. I doubt that has too many people quivering for the time being.

What's obvious is that if they can build the HW unification into a 1mn+ buy US PPV, the worldwide revenue will be much larger than you seem to think.

Well if you want millions of people to see it then why not put Breazeale fight on FOX?

This is Finkle just brainwashing Wilder in front of the media.
Wilder is being taken to the cleaners by his own handlers

We can just look at what the last mega fight Wilder had and you have the revenue grossed.

We were told Wilder v Fury was huge and going to do x numbers at the gate and on ppv then reality kicked in.

Now answer the question. If Wilder is such a star and a Wilder v AJ fight is as huge as you seem to believe why wouldn't the same fans ready to pay $75 on PPV just go to whatever platform the fight is on?

Lets not forget AJ isn't known in the states and irrelevant according to you so Wilder is jumping from 325k buys to over a 1 mil with the unknown Anthony Joshua?

Either Joshua is the most well known irrelevant fighter on the planet or you are chatting breeze.
