Yarde and tunde Begging for biggest cash out ever

Be interested to see who Yarde actually fights next, he’s fighting guys in the top 30 on boxrec and there’s not many bums left in that bunch. Sven fornling would be ideal as he holds a world title (ibo) and he’s not that great.

I like him too, but it's the credibility gap between the hype and the reality that makes it increasingly difficult to take the nonsense put out by his team. A bit of hype can help build a fighter but it has to be in at least some proportion to his actual accomplishments. Talking about him as the A side who is going to need a 60k stadium to hold his fans or is capable of dictating terms to a champion that's actually achieved things in the sport is just one more example.

I've been saying for a wee while I think Yarde is going to surprise us and go into a proper fight soon. He simply had to with the all the hype from his own team and all the pressure they were getting to take a real fight. I didn't think it would be as big a step up as Kovalev, but they said they were up for it, BT were even pushing it already on their social media, so I thought finally we're getting what we wanted, great. Then you hear that interview with Tunde today saying it's London or nowhere, they're the A-side etc. The warning signs are there for another ducking by the Lion.

 

Even Wazza had "that look" on his face when interviewed about this earlier.

Kovalev is arguably "the man" in the division. Yarde isn't even the top dog on the domestic scene.

Not sure that they are the A side particularly as Kovalev has had a few PPV fights. However I would say if they can get the fight to the Emirates Stadium its a coup. They have a chance because Kovalev will definitely travel for the right purse and lets face it he is not getting any younger.

 

I think 1 out of 1000 people on the street would know who Yarde is

 

Is anyone else getting the feeling that Yarde may end up suffering an injury and forced to pull out of the Kovalev fight?

 

If they somehow got that fight to the third largest football stadium in England they would have to sell 70,000 tickets.
