Decent opponent, Schwarz is a solid operator, nothing special... but a far cry better than the Seferi's and Pianeta's of the division. I'm not mad at this at all. He's around Agit Kabayel's level.

Poor man's Charles Martin southpaw with no power.

Very predictable, Fury will have another coaster here , best thing he does is move around and waste movements ,

If Fury can't stop this guy it will tell me he's really not giving it his all again and has to really ask why he's boxing then , because if he's not going to put something on his shots he has zero chance against Joshua and he's not improving himself for Wilder, that switch has to start here.

May the Schwarz be with you anyway ! :starwars-smiley:

The original Twitter post was deleted or moved. I wonder why. Maybe there were concerns that the opponent's not completely confirmed yet.

**** fight. I guess you can't blame him, but outside of the Klitschko and Wilder fights, it seems like he is wasting his career.

I hope he gets Joshua next.

What's Fury's condition right now? I'm guessing he's out of shape?

He's actually looking in even better shape than when he fought Wilder, he's at the very least maintained his fitness by the looks of it.

Schwarz poses no threat at all, expect Fury to win without getting out of first gear. I'm kind of disappointed at this level of opponent, while his record is spotless he's not fought anyone good, would of preferred Rivas or Pulev or Parker.

I assume Rivas being saved as a potential Wilder or Kownacki opponent as he's a Haymon fighter. Pulev will look to finally fight Joshua this year for his mandatory and Parker smartly needs to retool before he steps up to this level again.

    I doubt it.

    1. Tweet is gone
    2. Just seems weird that Schwarz would give up his 0 for a fight like this at this point in his career. He's very young, it's not even a title fight, and I doubt a Fury fight would pay all that much.

Yeah nothing confirmed from what I've seen, he's simply a possible opponent according to reports.

So instead of a Wilder rematch we get this. What a joke.

As if Schwarz will take the fight. He's shown no ambition to step up yet.

Well, we were promised a top 5 opponent and now we've got him, Thomas Shwarz, Germany's no. 5 ranked heavyweight.........and sorry but, this guy is not on Agit Kabayels level. This is very dissapoining after all the bluff and bluster by Fury and Wilder lately, neither of them is walking the walk, just chatting shite talking the talk......pfff.
