I think Hearns would stop Canelo in 3 or 4 rounds. Hearns tested people's chins when other guys didn't.

Virgil Hill was very sure he would beat Thomas Hearns. It went much differently than he thought? Why? Hearns was a higher grade opponent than anyone Hill had every fought, even the top guys he fought were not on this level of an older Hearns.

GGG won't throw a two fisted attack unless the other guy is a tomato can. His looping shots are too slow and he's too aware of the danger that poses against elites, which is why he only popped jabs at Canelo.

Canelo isn't anywhere near as fit and conditioned as Hearns either , stamina/ workrate is one of his biggest weakness. If GGG couldn't exploit that in Canelo and wear him down over 24 rounds , then there's no way he's going to wear Tommy Hearns down.
We know by the footage that Golovkin won't press the action against elites who can counter his looping shots.
Hearns plays it long and disciplined like he did vs Ray and cruises to a UD.
GGG was exposed by Canelo and now he only wants to only fight club level fighters like Brandon Adams. Also note how he is ducking Andrande who is a mover like Hearns.

    Hearns UD.

    So do I.

No way Canelo would get away with laying his back on the ropes against Hearns like he did with GGG. Hitman would lay him out.

Hagler walked through everything Herns threw at him. GGG wouldn't walk through Canelo's punches which were weaker than Hearns.
    Logic/reality >> fantasty.

Um no. You might want to do some fact finding on that one as you are WAY out.

He started 4-1 and ended up 2 1/2 to 1 by fight time. In some circles it went to 2-1 i believe.

I don't normally look at odds, but on that fight I remember the 4-1 since Hearn rarely was that big an underdog.. I think Rosario vs. Bramble in 1986 was 4-1. As for Hearns vs. Hill. I knew Hill was the favorite and I have to proof read more. That was my point to Bundini, Hill was favored to win and Hearns pulled it out. So the appearance of Hearns as the washed up brawler which Hill might land his counter left on -was what people thought could happen. I don't remember the closing odds, I do remember the 4-1 odds. But now that you say it, 2 1/2 to one it does sound familiar. It is so long ago I forget. I do remember Hagler vs. Hearns was I think 7-5 in Hagler's favor with the late money coming on Hearns. And Tyson vs. Douglas I think was 26-1.. But I am not for sure on that. Hearns vs. Barkley one I think was 8-1..

Someone remind me who Hearns actually beat in the middleweight division...

And Doug DeWitt doesn't really count.

Canelo who according to many of his critics isn't a very hard puncher had GGG fighting timid. Hearns who is a devastating puncher would have GGG in sruvuval mode.

I agree fully, I don’t think there’s any comparison between the best fighters Golovkin’s fought and Thomas Hearns and that includes Canelo.
It’s just I think Golovkin’s a tough SOB and he may come through the tough period’s and wear Tommy down.
As I’ve said though that view is with no great conviction.
Hey on the other hand Hearns might spark him out!!

    Who has Golovkin beat? lol

Hearns has wins over certified legends, Golovkin does not. When you watch Hearns fight you can clearly see why he's an ATG.. Comapred to Hearns GGG looked like a docile baby lamb when he was fighting Canelo.
