You're probably right, though it would be really interesting fight.

Right now I'm favouring Joyce, he's bigger, older and had a much more amateur experience. Dubois may have greater potential later on but right now he's a novice who hasn't had the experience and seasoning Joyce had with a long amateur career.

Both like to come forward and throw big punches I see the slightly bigger and more active Joyce pushing Dubois back and nothing I've seen so far from Dubois suggests to me he can be as effective on the back foot.

Question is do either of them want it right now?

As a British fight fan, I'd genuinely be more excited about this than Wilder vs Breazeale and close to AJ vs Miller

I do however expect as you say Warren will not let DDD near a live opponent until 2020 at the earliest

I suspect you are right, Dubois is a baby right now compared to Joyce with his extensive amateur experience, would be a risk to put him in so deep so soon.

Joyce all day long. Schools Dubois for 4 or 5 rounds, then finishes him off in the 6th. It's simply a matter of experience. Dubois hardly has any. Despite his impressive looking wins, hidden behind that is a huge lack of experience that will hinder him at the highest level. Joyce is one of, if not THE, most experienced heavyweight in the game right now.

Dubois needs at least another 5 fights before he gets to that level. I'm not a fan of all the build-up for fighters, but this is absolutely necessary for Dubois. I'd rather he takes his time than rushes. He is no AJ, nor is he a Joyce. They rushed because they were able to rush. They knew what to do because they'd done it all in the amateurs. Dubois hasn't.

Would be surprised if Dubois is ready for this. Its possible that he can win but it's a risky fight probably 50/50 atm. Early days for Dubois in his career he can bounce back from a loss but someone like a Gorman or even a Hughie Fury would probably be more suitable and come with less risk.

    JoJo vs DaDu! :ggg

Really hope it actually happens, because just like in dodgy restaurants it's always the question if you eventually get what you ordered.
In a lot of cases one pulls out/skips and the other ends up fighting a pushover instead.

Warren would rather put one of his own sons in with Joyce than risk Dubois at this stage of his career.

Surely fish eyes won't be going near this one. This is all risk and no reward for him. Joyce is in a rush but Dubois is still super young. I think Dubois will let this one slide, fight a couple more bums then jump in with Gorman at the end of the year. That'd be enough of a step up in my opinion. Joyce could really derail him at this point.

Frank will pull Dubois out of purse bids, no need for this fight yet. They are building towards Gorman first

Pretty sure Dubois destroys Joyce. Fight won't happen though...
