After Tyson schools this plodder he can relax in a bath of $1000 bills from his lunatic ESPN contract.

An insight into the mind of the Fury fanboy. Tyson gets a pass for fighting total no marks because Joshua didn't fight Wilder.

How many stay busy fights has he had through his career?

You can only name two world level opponents he's faced.

    The rest have been filler.

Worst he signs a deal with a network which makes it near impossible to fight the other two heavyweights.

You can expect to see him matched against more fighters that you've never heard of before on ESPN

Couldn't care less who they fight tbh (AJ, Wilder, Fury) unless they all fight each other. Obviously I'll watch and pay attention but these 3 are all in a league of their own in the division atm.

I bet you could care less. Be honest, Fury v Whyte, Ortiz, Pulev, Povetkin, Parker, Christ, even Dubois is more intriguing than him fighting this complete non-entity.

The figures which Bob Arum referred to as 'bullsh*t?'

Doubt it. Arum isn't giving money away is he. And Tyson is going to absolutely pong in this fight if the rumours are true. I don't know what would be the shorter price: Tyson winning every round or Tyson getting booed out of the ring. I make both about 1/50.

Surely they could’ve pitched him against an American like a Washington / Jennings / Molina
Surely the US fanbase wont have any interest in this

There is no comeback and you know it. Come back when your man grows a pair.

This is the thing I don't get. How is anyone making any money out of this? Tyson is pretty boring and British, and has failed to do any serious numbers in his own country. Schwarz is largely unheard of even in fairly hardcore boxing circles, and is also European. There is no world title on the line.

How does this work in Vegas?

No one in their right mind can justify this freak circus show fight.

It's not a mandatory, it's not as if Fury has had a succession of tough fights in a row where he has earned the right to have a stay busy fight.

The one thing you can give credit to Fury for is the fact, he always brings new fighters that no one has heard or ever seen to the light

If it wasn't for Fury, we'd have never known the existence of Seferi,Pienata, Abell and now Schwarz

I was of the belief that he would have a fight to warm up for Wilder to let that for fight build up and “marinate”. Schwarz is no flavour, bland.

I’d like to think of myself as a “hardcore”, I had never heard of Schwarz before.

Went to LA for Fury-Wilder and there were loads of Fury fans.

How many of them are going to spend the best part of £2,000 going to Vegas for this fight?

No way do they sell 5,000 tickets.

    Yeah pathetic.

The man was out a long time, had two pretty meaningless comeback fights, was ridiculed slated and given zero chance against Wilder, who he beat IMO, I have no problem if this is on, he deserves his tune up before he gets his shot.

What is the excuse for Joshua?

An active fighter, who has beat povetkin parker takam etc yet runs miles from Wilder and fights Miller.

Joshua is being lined up very nicely and he doesn't even see it coming.
