He’s gonna be paid regardless? He’s signed a contract, won’t be his concern if it stinks the place out. Wilder could have KO’d Fury in the first round and fury would have still got the same money from that fight.

The details of the contract which nobody seems to know but which Arum referred to as 'bullsh*t' when asked about the bigger numbers?

I think we all know that Arum hasn't been in the game long enough to think that he should be paying top whack to a fat, light punching Brit without a world title defending against a guy absolutely nobody has heard of. Arum talked about Fury 'potentially' earning huge money. It makes sense to think that involves him fighting people better than this guy.

Hayers won't be watching the fight lads.

Posts fourteen times in the thread. More than any other poster.

    Imagine that.

Very poor fight indeed. Imagine if AJ fought Schwartz he would get absolutely hammered

A certain former poster who’s username began with “I” also used to obsessively post about Fury - despite hating him. Funny coincidence.

Well, despite not losing a round against either of them the Seferi and Pianeta fights were pathetic.

Do you remember when Fury signed his deal? Do you remember on here saying 'I wonder how Hayers feels - must be having a bad day' and all that? Do you remember saying Fury had proven you didn't need AJ to make superstar money in heavyweight boxing? That he was a major star in America? That his rematch with Wilder would do a million buys or, if it was over here, would sell out Old Trafford?

I can't imagine how bad it must feel to see all that in smoke and your hero getting laughed at. But if I was a Tyson Fury fan this would be absolutely terrible news. You've even spent three months telling all and sundry how bad Miller is; now Fury signs to fight someone ten times as bad.

But don't worry; just keep repeating I'm a paid Matchroom shill and it'll make it all go away...

Ha, ha, ha, triggered!! You're an absolute headcase.

I'm underwhelmed by Fury's upcoming fight. Nothing more, nothing less. I've seen Fury fight and beat the best. I won't lose sleep over a keep busy fight, albeit a disappointing one. Happy to see the big man fit and fighting. I've no doubt he'll fight and beat the best again.

Fury fighting poor opposition doesn't suddenly make Miller a good fighter.

The hilarious part is; I'm a Tyson Fury fan, but you're completely obsessed with the man. A thread was made yesterday about a fighter you supposedly don't like, taking part in a fight you're claiming you won't watch, yet you've posted in it sixteen odd times. I can't imagine how bad it must feel to obsess over a fighter day in, day out, that you hate. That's genuine pain.

Ten times as bad haha. Do you remember Miller calling out Dave Allen last year? That gives you an idea of where he saw himself until this gift from Hearn. Let’s not elevate Miller’s quality. He’s a pudding.

I’m not chuffed about this fight at all but when you apply context to it ie. Still striving to get back to his best, needs more tune ups etc then it makes sense. He just got ironed out by Wilder (credit to him he got back up), he’s not ready.

He’s got 5 fights with ESPN. If he fights this lad, along with a Whyte, Wilder, Joshua then I don’t think you could knock him. If he picks another pudding after this one then he deserves the flak. At the end of the day though he’s gone to the backyard of 2 very dangerous world champions...no other current British heavyweight has done that.

And so the revisionism begins. Three months ago he had proven he was comprehensively back after schooling a world champion and being robbed. Now it's perfectly understandable that he's having tune ups against total and utter nobodies.

This fight, end of, and in every way, is terrible.

A thought regarding TV. It's obviously not a PPV fight, but it's on the same night as Warrington v Galahad. Wonder what will happen?

Presumably BT Sport will be carrying all his ESPN fights?

It'll be on BT in some capacity. I was wondering if, given the date, the temptation becomes 'watch the Gypsy King defend his lineal title against dangerous undefeated contender Tom Schwarz with all-British undefeated world title action earlier in the evening, all on BT Sport Box Office.'

If Frank needs to deliver PPV, he's not got many options. Even less if Fury is in garbage non-events like this.

If he was fighting this guy before wilder it would have been an ideal one to make however that's not the case is it.

Fury and wilder have been quite clever here in a business sense they used each other to grow their profiles and are now in a position to sign big deals (in Fury's case) and turn down big deals in Wilders case.

Both of them now are going to get overpaid for fighting relative bums for a few fights whilst dragging out fighting each other again or legit top 10 guys to earn as much as possible with little risk.

My opinion is that both these guys wilder and fury are quite afraid and know the risks of fighting the top 10 guys. Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, miller, pulev etc etc. Not because they are scared or because they don't think they can win but because both these guys are beatable. Fury is the most naturally gifted boxer in the division however his lack of power is always going to give the top 10 guys a chance over 12 rounds of stopping him and wilder would get outboxed by most.

Both of them have dissapointed massively, one of them should be fighting AJ.
