I know you’re illiterate and you have a ridiculous sense of self importance. You should be worried about it, because that’s what keeps you dumb. You demonstrated that in that thread about punching power, fragile men have egos and are stubborn. So it’s funny, but at the same time I feel a bit sorry for you.

    :risas3: project much?
your feelings were hurt cause you were made to look the ass in that thread, and your fragile ego brought it over to this thread. take it back to that thread and i will laugh at you there, leave this civil conversation to continue.
i will even stop responding now, so your insecure psyche can claim a mental victory by getting in the last word. without it, i doubt youll sleep, lol.

I don't ever pretend to have anything or any abilities. I know who I am, my strengths and many weaknesses, what I can and can't do, and I make a concerted effort to be as objective as possible on here and to be honest about everything about me, because regardless of how many people that would look down upon me and negatively judge me because of my past, it doesn't bother me because as big of a **** up I am and have been in the past, I still like me and who I am and am proud of a lot of positive changes I've made in my life. And one doesn't make the changes I've made and turn their life around as I have without a plethora of positive traits that all make up character. Like I said, I'm good and happy(on some days) with who I am and who/what I've done in the past and present, so nothing deters me from being brutally honest about myself and my past. I'm real, period. Whether it's with myself or on any other topic/subject, regardless of who thinks what on here, I KNOW I'm 100% real and honest. So don't tell me about pretending to have character.

I've aired out plenty of my dirty laundry for all here to see because at my best of times I'm content with myself and also because no matter what, I'm flat out real and honest with myself and about myself. That said, with all I've done in life and the fact that I've been a habitual jackass for the entirety of my life, I know I have ZERO right to pass judgement on anybody, whether I like them or not. I'm neutral in regards to you, which is a far better opinion than most of this forums posters. I know and can tell you have real and genuine knowledge on a lot of different subjects and you're clearly far more intellectually gifted than I, but then again, who isn't? A lot of the messages you post and knowledge you try to pass onto others here, are or sometimes can be quite informative and very good contributions. It's not the message or knowledge you post here people have a problem with the most, it's you're delivery. You come across as cocky, brash, arrogant, and ignorant. If you can take and handle constructive criticism and would like to become a better poster which in turn would make almost everyone here FAR more receptive to what you write, keep that in mind and look yourself in the mirror and make an honest assessment about yourself and how you deliver your messages here if you do actually care about improving as a poster and becoming a much better and more respected poster and having a much more positive impact on the forum as a whole.

Maybe you are a "physical anomaly" as you say, or maybe it's a lie to feel that way online because that might just not be you in person and you say it on here in the hopes of actually feeling like one in some way or somehow. Regardless, the only poster here who knows the truth about that is you. There's a good saying that goes: "you are who you are, even when no one is looking." Even if it is true, I've seen more than just a few "physical anomalies" get their dong punched loose by dudes who are far from being anything like a physical specimen, because at the end of a day, a boxing match is a sanctioned and controlled sporting event, it's a sport, and both guys being everywhere else, the better physical specimen will almost assuredly come out on top. But if you met @bandeedo, I HIGHLY doubt it would be in a legitimate and sanctioned boxing match in a controlled environment. From what he's posted on here I'm all but sure he's somewhere in his 40's or early 50's. Between the two of you, I'm pretty sure you're the much younger guy and would therefore be the more impressive physical specimen. But being a specimen means jack **** if you can't fight, don't know how to properly fight, haven't actually trained and competed in any combative sport, have next to zero experience in actual street fights, don't have much if any street smarts, and don't handle stress or pressure well -- especially the kind you have to deal with and get used to when facing an opposing combatant/s. For all the impressive physical feats you may be able to accomplish, if you're not street smart and you're about to get into a street fight with someone who is, and has been around the proverbial block once or twice -- basically, you're ****ed. And hard. All those big bad physical anomalies that I've seen get absolutely tuned up countless times, especially up here in Boston, by guys who weren't even in 1/4 the shape the other guy was and weren't 1/8 the specimen the other guy was, the fact that they were street smart, experienced, and been there done that gave them an upper hand and edge the physical beast could never make up for physically. Street dudes, know two golden rules in street fighting: 1. ALWAYS BE THE ONE TO GET OFF FIRST and 2. In an uncontrolled environment like a street fight, the streetwise guy is always going to take control of the environment and own it. So whatever you bench press or run the 100 meter dash in, I'm sure @bandeedo would get a good chuckle out of it if you two actually did meet up with the intentions of fighting each other.

An internet forum isn't an ideal platform for socially interacting with others, deciding who you like and dislike because in real life in some instances it could be the exact opposite, and making real, lasting, and solid friendships. I've said it before, REAL recognizes REAL. I don't personally know @bandeedo but through all the years we have both been posting here, interactions we've had with one another, shared perspectives and opinions on boxing and life in general, and the large number of similarities between the two of us in regards to our pasts, personalities, and ideals, I gladly consider him my friend on here. I laid out a code to live my life by a long time ago, or rather, a code was laid out to me for me to live my life by, and what I value and what I don't etc. etc. Loyalty to me, is one of the traits I place the most value on in life, maybe even the most. Like I saisd before, I have no right to pass judgement on you, but you disrespected my friend, and even though I know he doesn't need my help responding to you, HE'S MY FRIEND, so I'm going to jump in and defend him regardless. He and I are both veterans, and that doesn't make us cool or special, but loyalty means something to us that's totally different than almost any other social sect.

It's funny you bring up that you are a physical anomaly, because I was a very accomplished and successful athlete growing up in 3 different sports: American football, basketball, and boxing, and in the spring of my senior year I ran track and made it to the state finals in the 100 meter dash and if I had chosen, the 200 meter dash as well. I finished 6th out of 6 in the state finals, but would have been top 3 many other years. The kid who won it -- he was a physical anomaly. His name was Ryan LaCasse and he was from Stoughton, MA. He was 6'3 and weighed 245 pounds, bench pressed 485 pounds, and went on to succeed Dwight Freeney at defensive end at Syracuse University where the coaches said he was actually faster than Freeney, who clocked an electrically timed 4.38 40 yard dash at the NFL combine. I ran the best time of my life -- a 10.82 and still finished 6th of 6. My friend and the other kid from my school who made the finals ran the best time of his life and came in 4th, he ran a 10.78. I've been around incredible athletes my whole life and competed against them my whole life. One of my best friend's was an all-pro middle linebacker for the Seahawks for 6 years, I played D.1AA on scholarship at Central Connecticut State University and was a walk on on their basketball team and even got decent playing time and that was the year we made the NCAA tournament. I actually took some very good scalps in amateur boxing(not naming any names, I'm not here to try and make myself look like Mike Tyson, and regardless of the results, they proved their worth in professional boxing and I don't want to negatively impact anyone's views of them, because while they were having good pro careers I was addicted to drugs, alcohol, and in and out of jail being a pathetic joke as usual) and have boxed well over 20 years. I'm no spring chicken but I'm still 36 and still train though at the moment I cant compete because I have a right orbital bone fractured in two places and need surgery. I'm a hothead and wish I wasn't and I don't like hurting anyone in anyway whatsoever, but if someone calls me out on here to fight and is willing to come up here, I have no problem figuring it out. Im not saying Ive never lost or no one can beat me -- I have, plenty, and many can, but I KNOW I can fight my balls off and I've been beaten with hands feet and weapons as badly as one can and still live so im not scared in the least if I lose and Im more than confident Id beat more than most posters here. If you have a personal problem with me that you wanna settle through that route and live in the northeast, I have no issues doing things that way. But I have no issues with you and don't mean to disrespect anyone personally on here.

16 Air Assault Brigade? Hats off brother, that's a truly elite and HIGHLY respected Brigade. I truly appreciate the offer brother and likewise. I wish more posters here knew how tough it is to be a mortarman in an Air Assault designated light infantry unit and how badass you guys are and how difficult a job it is, on top of the stress and toll it takes on your body lugging all that kit over the course of a deployment. From the bottom of my heart bro --RESPECT.

Rigo is a far better boxer than Mikey and didn't need to jump up nearly as much weight. Rigo added 8lbs to fight Loma, where's Mikey had to put on 12lbs. Not to mention Rigo fought 6 months before Loma. Neither fighter should get credit imo.
