Rating all of Matchroom and Queensburys 2019 British shows

wow ....... just wow! Does Eubank have a clause in his ITV deal that states they must all be PPV?!?!

 

The funny thing afterwards is they were trying to say he’s the face of ITV PPV and Eubank slipped up and said BBC PPV.

 

didnt see the interviews .... oh dear !!

 

I'd have put it at a 4/10

Selby - Meh.

Joyce - Just watching him pummel fatty around the ring got pretty boring pretty quickly.

Eubank/Degale - After 1 round you could see how bad James had become, quite enjoyed the bodyslam so gave it an extra mark for that.

Disappointed at the lack of Snr doing/saying stupid things though, did like his badge though. I might get myself one of those.

 

Eubank has to be on ITV PPV as per a Senior interview last year.

 

Jordan Gill vs Dominguez

Anthony Sims Jnr - fought an opponent who isnt even Yarde opponent level, waste of time
Riakporhe vs McCarthy - decent fight
Steed vs trash can - waste of time
Jordan Gill vs Dominguez - complete mismatch

Overall - 2/10

 

Royal Albert Hall show.

4/10. Nothing competitive, bonus points for venue and Friday night boxing.

Impressive performance by Williams and Dubois showed his power once again. But I don’t think we learned anything new last night. It was as expected.

 

I'd probably give it a 3/10

It was mildly entertaining but still not exciting in any way.

 

i give it 4 out of ten. i thought garton vs jenkins, was a good fight, with the right result, my fav uk tv fight this year, not hard thou.
The next was a terrible mismach.
The dubois was short and sweet, i was f dreading this fight after dubois and his opponents last fights.
The williams fight i wanted more but again short and sweet, williams looked good.
i thought the yarde fight was decent, but they need to spend more money on opponents.
i also enjoyed the questioning by dempsey. asking more difficult questions you normally hear on shows

 

5/10. Garton v Jenkins was very entertaining.
The knockout dished out by Williams on Mullender was brutal. Stupid decision by the ref to send him back out.
Venue looked great. Didn’t run ridiculously late.

Haywood vs Challenger
Great competitive fight, two undefeated fighters stepping up and giving it their all

Maxwell vs Sederi
Domestic fight of the year so far, had everything, drama, knockdowns, heart, showboating, and a highlight reel last gasp KO

Gorman vs Johnson
Boring

Bowen vs McCrory
Good entertaining fight, McCrory gave a great account of himself and was well in the fight till the end

Overall - 7/10, dont think ive been this entertained by a domestic show in a while (apart from Gorman Johnson)

 

BT a solid 6/10 for me tonight and matchroom 0/10

 

BT was a good, solid card, Matchroom was a waste of time. I wish we wouldn't have two on the same night.

 

Enjoyed the BT card
