This kid is among the very best of the young vanguard of polished yet hard-hitting up-and-coming young Kazakh undefeated prospects, along with light heavyweight Ali Bagodinoviç Akhmedov (not sure if there's any relation? Or maybe the name Akhmedov is just like Kazakhstan's equivalent of "Smith" :nusenuse:), two-time Olympian and one-time gold medalist Daniyar Yeleussinov, Nursultan Zhangabayev, and Zhanibek Alimkhanuly. He will also be among the most fun to watch, as he's just defensively vulnerable/reckless enough and his performances in the ring are nearly as entertaining as his entrances (complete with traditional garb & helmet). :sisi1

@CST80 you'd like his punch selection & hustle; definitely worth checking out if̶ when his victory earlier today over Yohanes "The Fox/The Indonesian Ricardo Mayorga" Ruba gets uploaded on YT.

Not the first time in the last 24 hours someone has prioritized bicycling over boxing. :sisi1

(there was supposed to be an Italian fight card on EuroSport 2, should've lined up perfectly after the Kazakh show, but at the advertised time when I went to check the stream and confirm the broadcast had started before I sparked up a RBR, there was a race on. Half an hour later...still going. Half an hour later...the hell with it, by then it was almost time for the Bohachuk thread :nusenuse:)

    What, IYO?

And I think his positive attributes number beyond just physical strength. Good footwork, crisp jab, throws body shots well & often, and can finish when he gets someone hurt. For eight bouts in there isn't a whole lot to nitpick.

I'm not sure, he gets kind of sloppy and clumsy at times. I'm probably just comparing him to GGG for some reason. Oddly enough his style looks more western than eastern block to me.

The other Akhmedov (the light heavyweight that fought on a Loeffler card in California tonight, just a few hours after Sadriddin fought in their homeland) is far more GGG-like, but I guess that is to be expected as he is (Ali, that is) promoted and managed by Golovkin and part of a "besties" crew with Murat Gassiev and Gennady's brother Max.

Sadriddin is doing his own thing, yeah, not as steeped in the national style as some of his compatriots, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not every Qazaq fighter should be attempting to emulate Golovkin, just like not every youth in the US should try being Mayweather, as in both cases 90% are doomed to fail horribly at recreating those individual styles.

I just watched the match against Ruda, he's good, but a little too methodical and one note, it seems like he's a little to left happy, like everything he threw was a left. Left uppercuts, left hooks, jab, that nice tomahawk chopping GGG KO Rubio overhand. But he's lacking something, like @Forza said. He's decent, good all around, nice footwork, controls range well, seems heavy handed enough to keep guys at bay, but not a one punch KO guy, that being said, he seems to lack urgency, lack drive, like Rico Ramos' trainer said last night, he seems to lack a third or fourth gear. But he's far better than many prospects I've seen, but I doubt he'd be all that hard to figure out for a top tier guy.

Really like this kid, would like him even more if he wasn't from boratville. Some guy gave me **** for liking and supporting this kid and for agreeing with you that he was a better prospect than some guy whose name I think we all forgot from I think Scotland. Well........ I'm going to go back and figure out who that dickhead was and make him refer to me as Sir pistal47 from now on.

That was a different Akhmedov, bro.

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/ali-bagodinoviç-akhmedov-remember-the-name.592039/page-15

That was Ali B. Akhmedov; the now banned shithead troll was Grime Rockstar; and the Brit he was hyping as better than Ali is Willy Hutchinson.

I've been leading the charge on the Ali bandwagon for years, and others have started warming up to him slowly as he started to be regularly featured on US cards streamed by Loeffler (and palling around like a wolfpack with Gassiev & Max Golovkin on social media), but Sadriddin has kind of emerged from outta nowhere lately. A lot of my boxing Twitter mutuals are REALLY high on him, and some even say he's flat out better than Ali p4p. I'd figure he was right up @Forza and @CST80 's alley; they both like strong fearless offensive fighters, but I'll defer to both of their instincts/judgment and sprinkle a little garnish of caution in my hopes for the kid. Whatever they see him as missing and can't put their finger on, hopefully it gets sorted out during this developmental phase of his career, as I'd like to see him around for a while and think he could be a part of some really fun nights.

Jesus Christ. I already have a naturally ingrained bias against former soviet countries fighters and it takes A LOT to get me behind them and on their bandwagon, and on top of that they have these bat**** insane names that sound like dog kaka when you say them aloud and are even worse trying to spell and type. Now a lot of them seemingly share (at least partly) the same ****ing names and have very similar styles, career projections, and potential? I'm good bro. All set. Can't/won't do it anymore. Intellectually incapable of doing it anyways. All the best to them, though.

I'm the epitome of a simpleton, besides the military the only jobs I've worked and even been capable of doing is manual labor jobs. Right now, I'm literally a part of the local 22 Laborers Union and barring any unforeseen and drastic changes, probably will be until I die. Highly doubtful I make it to the common age for retirement and don't even think I'd want to.

Thanks for the correction and for articulating the distinction between the two. I still really like Ali B., and will continue to follow and watch him when I can. The rest of these former Soviet MF'ers though, man they tie my tiny brain in knots and leave me mind****ed for days. Also, thank you for the analysis and effort you put into your reply, very cool of you. Thanks again brother. I gotta get back to work now or I'm gonna get chewed the **** out. Cheers bud.
