Why doesn't Deontay Wilder have major commercial endorsements like Joshua has?

Because he's not marketable. He's got a lot of negative energy and he's always angry. AJ is always smiling and appreciative of the opportunities he's given. Plus AJ is a much better communicator and that makes him more marketable.

Same reason you don't see Canelo in TV advertisements. Boxing just isn't popular enough in the states anymore.

    Exactly.
IMHO Zelenoff won the fight by DQ. Wilder clearly punched him, when Z was down from a slip.
And he couldn´t even knocc out 155 lbs sticc boi.

As stated, he does emit a very negative energy and those dead body comments he's repeated too many times for it not to be a simple misstep. He also represents the degrading, scummy, Worldstar culture thats ruining America atm.

AJ is more mixed race, while Wilder is more black.

How light your skin is plays a huge part. Companies only want white/mixed race people.

Im a Wilder supporter... but... have you heard him talk? Hes pretty erratic, real, unpolished, confrontational, and often says some pretty distasteful remarks.

Most major companies wouldnt risk attaching their name to someone like that.

Especially with the way social media is taken in to account for actions of spokespersons more now a days. Ultimately, an athlete endorser has to be likable on a large scale. That's just not Deontay.
