I'm not just repeating the same point. The conversation develops. It's not just 'this is a terrible fight, this is a terrible fight, this is a terrible fight.' (Albeit, that's still a completely legitimate comment.) It's the fact that people will suggest it's not that bad in comparison to what Joshua and Wilder are doing (it is), that there's nobody really that much better (there are) and so on. I also think there's a bit of an overreaction in here to what I actually think of Fury. I find him boring yes, but I'm still perfectly happy to admit he beat Klitschko, did really well against Wilder and is clearly a top three heavyweight. I don't repeat that he's rubbish. But Christ the overrating in here. In the last two months he's been compared to Ali and Mayweather. It's genuinely laughable.
There's barely anyone on here saying it's a good fight - only that TysonFuryGOAT account or whatever it's called which blindly says anything Fury does is amazing. I think it might actually be a troll account. I'm a huge Fury fan but this isn't a good fight at all and it's very disappointing. I only want to see him fight the best guys, pointless otherwise. You do post rather obsessively about Fury though, which is why you have a reputation on here. Perhaps give the Fury threads a miss for a while and let people judge you more generally without bias.
It's not a good fight. No interest whatsoever. I haven't seen Schwarz so can't really comment on his potential chances but I figure from his record he's mediocre at best.
He might surprise us and do an Axel Schulz, another unheralded unproven German who was robbed in Las Vegas when George Foreman cherry picked him. That one was a Bob Arum event too.
Fury needs to iron this lad out in 4-6 rounds. I don’t like the fight as much as anyone else, gutted if i’m being honest. So he needs to sit down on his punches and walk this lad onto a big shot. I know most believe he has no power, but this is more to do with how he throws his shots imo. I may be guilty of generalising here, but the traveller fighters seem to step off their shots...they are often standing a foot or two away (either side) from when the shot is thrown to when it’s landed. Their feet are rarely planted so the canvas. They may connect with a beautiful eye catching shot but it’s a scoring shot rather than a concussive one.
A carbon copy of Fury vs Pianeta is most likely. The only question is just how bad the fight will be. Hopefully bad enough that they decide to put Tyson in with a live body in 2019 instead of 2020 / 2021.
You’re only getting the best Tyson when he’s in with top opposition. This fight isn’t going to do much to marinate a wilder fight.
There was actually people trying to herald the Thomas and Mack as some sort of iconic venue. Now the fights been moved you can drop your guard. This content is protected
That was me pal and the Thomas and Mack has staged some huge fights. The fact you never even heard of it speaks volumes.
