Which fighters have the best balance in boxing? Katie Taylor`s footwork is fundamentally really sound as is Canelo`s, GGG`s balance is great too, can fans name champs that move correctly and other title holders that don`t?

Crawford because of how diverse it is,
    Lomachenko because of angles
    Golovkin had absurd balance,
Kovalev was really good at maximizing the force and distance from his punches,
Joshua has the best control of distance at HW
    Bivol may be machine,
Usyk moves way too well to be that large,
Andrade can be tricky but I need to see more of him.

True, fighters with good footwork you rarely if ever see off balance. No matter what they are doing or how they move they always are in perfect balance. First time I watched Hopkins it was one of the things I noticed about him, never off balance.

Lateral movement too is key. So many fighters with quick feet still fight in straight lines, moving forward and back, the really good fighters with great footwork either constantly circle around opponents or attack at angles like Loma leaving opponents in positions where they can't easily counter an attack.

its also essential in getting proper leverage on your punches. thats why having your feet planted is when you can punch the hardest, because you are solidly balanced. with great balance you are aware of the effects inertia and muscle contraction have on your balance and you position your feet accordingly. its like a race car driver who is great at reading the track. he can sense the angles, texture and shape of the track to adjust speed and direction for maximum speed.

It's extremely odd that in a list of every major eastern Euro fighter, the only non eastern euro's you chose are AJ and Andrade. WTF?!?!?!

No such thing as "do´s and dont`s" in boxing. It's all about what works at any given moment.
Double down on what works, improvise and discard what doesn't. Learn to adapt and always be vigilant.

If you do the same thing over and over, you will get figured out and caught clean. We just saw that with Mikey Garcia. He had a style that had worked his entire career vs guys that came at him. Spence kept the fight on the outside and Garcia had no answers. A supposed P4P elite was completely shut out.

Sorry, I missed that one. My mistake.

    Crawford
    AJ
    Andrade

    I rest my case.

Footwork doesn’t have to be flashy or fancy - some of my favourite footwork comes from fighters who you wouldn’t notice because they don’t make a big show of it.

Watching the fights this weekend I was particularly struck by how good Magdaleno’s footwork is. Just super solid and fundamentally excellent. Danny Garcia is another that falls into this category. Just always looks very comfortable and efficient in the ring.

    B Leonard, Hamed, SRR, Ali,
    Loma, Pep, M Tyson
    Wlad, A Moore

All great examples of how one thing can work for some and not others.
No such thing as "perfect" footwork. Some shuffle, some bounce, some switch-stance, some plod or walk.
Good footwork will be the basis for everything meaningful you can throw and be the essential ingredient to being that split-second ahead of your opponent.

And Crawford. Who would you like me to choose?

Joshua has very underrated control of distance with his jab and his jab and he's too dangerous on the inside to force a fight there.

Andrade...has shades of brilliance and shades of making really weird decisions but that could just be who he's boxing.

There aren't a lot of guys from this generation that I'd say have really good boxing technique. Right now it seems like people improve their physical abilities more than their technique and it is reflected in the overall sloppiness you see in matches today. I can point to more champions that have bad technique than ones with good technique let alone great.

Also I'm black don't ever make an implication of me of being racially biased like that again.

There are do's and dont's. That is what training is. Certain things have a higher chance of working.

Your analysis of Garcia-Spence is over simplistic because it doesn't factor in how much bigger and stronger Spence is and the exact way Spence fought. Garcia didn't have a single physical advantage in that fight and his footwork isn't swift enough to catch Spence out of position so he just ended up doing nothing.
