    Ortiz was hurt, slightly off-balance, and trying to hold on to Wilder for dear life as Wilder drilled him in the back of the head repeatedly, when Wilder loaded up his weight and threw Ortiz off him. Showed decent strength and leverage on Wilder's part but it wasn't some insane display of strength. It's not like Ortiz was standing with his feet firmly planted, on unshaky legs when Wilder just reached out and hurled him to the ground or something. This is a great example of the type of aggressive act that, when discussed out of context, leads many boxing fans to overestimate some fighters' strength relative to others.

    I would actually say the reverse for Ali, very athletic physique with not much raw lifting power. Holyfield has arguments for both sides?

    The way Ali manhandled Foreman impresses me to this day. That guy was either crazy strong or knew how to use his strength better than anyone else. Either way, same result.

    It may not have been by physical strength alone (speed and punch volume also played a big part) but I still amazed how Manny Pacquiao was able to beat up and dismantle the bigger Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto in their title fights.

    The thing with Floyd is that he got stronger as he moved up in weight. And not just stronger like you naturally wouldnwith added weight but P4P strength was much greater at 147

    Have you watched the sequence where he flings Ortiz to the ground? The evidence is in the footage, clear as day. Drills Ortiz with a couple flagrant punches seconds before throwing him:
