You seem to miss the part about Garcia not getting ktfo or getting his skull broken. He obviously realized he was going to get ktfo so he fought to survive.
It isn't that simple and you're ignoring nuance and context. Things don't work simply because they do.
What nuance and context was I ignoring? I just made a simple point for the simplicity of it. Not everything is or has to be overly complicated. I was trying to get my point across the easiest way possible.
But... that has no relevance in what I was talking about. His defense was solid for most of the fight.
What the heck are you talking about then? You ignore that Khan and Brook got spectacularly ktfo for their efforts. And you seem to think they got some shots off so it was a good plan or style? lol wut? And as with Garcia, he should not have been in there even though his skills are better than Spence because he could not handle the physical differences. In layman's terms he couldn't handle Spence's reach and power. It was all he could do to just keep from getting beat down as it is and you expected him to come out swinging like Khan or Brook. Come now man?
I don't think there is any style in the world that would've helped Mikey in that fight. Its a perfect example of being physically outclassed.
I knew someone would say this ha ha. You're quite right, a good orthodox fighter who stayed in position to counter could often catch Nas on his retreat from the pocket, K Kelly and MAB exemplified this. However, Nas had great balance imo and could generate exceptional power and torsion/leverage from most positions he found himself in. Whilst his footwork was tactically flawed at times, it was 100% based on offence and so, relying on reactive swaying and ducking for defence, he refined a unique and powerful movement game which is noteworthy imo. I agree that it is not a sound blueprint for a novice to follow but his legs were some of the best in boxing history and his meteoric rise through the UK domestic scene showcase a seek-and-destroy style which i and many others were/are rightly dazzled by.
I didn't call you racist you bum. I said you only chose 3 non-eastern euro fighters and two of the three you picked are **** poor and confusing examples. Stop being such a moron and grow the fug up. You clearly don't know what you're talking about if you're praising AJ's "control of distance". How well did he control the distance against Wlad? Or are you only counting fights he had against bums or fighters he massively outsizes? Then there's Andrade?!?!? Of all the great fighters on the planet not from Eastern Europe, why name one with no resume at all who you admit you barely even watched. Your selection of him is beyond bizarre.
There is always a way. If Mikey would have known how to deal with Spence's lead hand, he would have had way more success. Mikey works off of timings. He doesn't create openings. (You know like the saying; "great fighters make their opponents make mistakes") Spence utilized his reach and lead hand to create opening and to keep Mikey on the defensive.
Wlad was also a master at judging distance and AJ was green, he clearly has good balance and punches like the guy in the vid, you`re being harsh.
Defensively Rigo has the best feet, offensively lomas and Usyk footwork is very very quick and sharp. In terms of all round Crawford has the most well-rounded footwork game imo, he can use for offense or defence.
Disagree. You're clearly being overly forgiving if you think AJ has any place being mentioned in this thread.
