Pernell Whitaker was famous for not dropping many rounds at all during his career and fans on this forum always point out how R.Jones dominated most of his opponents completely, but when looking over top fighters careers which one statistically probably lost the least rounds in history?

Sorry Mark, but Roy Jones probably is one of them lol.

The accolade would probably go to an older fighter, as more bouts equal more rounds to be won.

I'd start looking at Willie Pep, Jack Britton, Archie Moore, Harry Greb, Maxie Rosenbloom, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jimmy Wilde etc.

I have heard from one well known, much loved, highly respected poster with no bias....that the answer is clearly Vitali

Pep, Greb, or Armstrong I'd guess. I count out Ray Robinson because slugged it out a lot with opponents and probably gave up some rounds in the process.

Probably somebody with a lot of decision wins, maybe one of these:

Young Stribling 95 wins by decision
Billy Bird 122 wins by decision
Willie Pep 164 wins by decision
Nicolino Locche 103 wins by decision

Assuming you mean %. There is a factual answer that cant be debated.

In almost 50 fights I cant find even 10 rounds that Vitali lost

Locche`s a great pick because he was hit with so few punches.

Maybe you mean at lightweight because at the higher weights he lost a number of rounds in world title fights.

Yeah, if we are talking percentage of rounds fought/won he may be the one or at least on the upper tier.

If we are talking most rounds won total? Then I would go with an above poster who said ones with numerous fights

If we're talking MOST (not %) rounds won, my guess would be Len Wickwar with 247 points wins.
