    Exactly.

If they were desperate for subscribers the price would drop.

And there's your other tactic. Once you've been backed into a corner you start calling people crazy or saying they must be drunk. You're the king of gas lighting for a reason ;)

Surely you can admit that DAZN raising their prices is a smart move. It will capture the huge amount of fans who want to see Canelo's next fight and allow DAZN to turn the fight into a mini-PPV. Some will buy the whole year also as they know they will want to see Canelo fight again in September so might just go for the bulk buy. This is a great way for DAZN to remedy their huge operating loss and settle their investors' nerves. Canelo will save the platform as he was always supposed to!

Wrong. Making even less money from the ~80k subs they already have would be a terrible idea and lowering the price right before Canelo's first proper fight would be madness to the extreme.

They already the low price model and it didn't work at all. So now they're trying to cash in on their early adopters and the inevitable one-and-done Canelo fans who want to see him fight but don'[t care about any of DAZN's other content. It's the smart play in this situation. DAZN's adaptability is a great strength and I believe it's the main reason they will succeed.

 What corner? You keep making **** up. I never talked about DAZN raising it's prices. I talked absolutely nothing about their business plans.

Al I talked about was how odd it was for someone to quote 80k since there is nobody who knows the numbers.

And here's another one of your tactics. You will always reply to every post. It doesn't matter how wrong you've been proven. You keep replying and repeating the same BS so you can use the last word as some kind of bizarre victory to keep your agenda moving forward.

The point has always been that many people in the industry are saying DAZN's numbers are bad. DAZN themselves have said they're not where they need to be. This move clearly shows that they have financial issues. However, you ignore all this and keep insisting the numbers are actually much higher even though you have absolutely no reason to believe this beyond your personal feelings.

Your agenda is extremely boring and transparent at this point.

This is what I was talking about!
I talked about this guy bringing up 80k since nobody should know the real numbers.
    And that makes sense.
I never insisted that the numbers were high.
I said the numbers could be extremely low or quite high. Maybe somewhere in the middle. But nobody knows the actual numbers.
And I agreed that the numbers were likely low.

 But you keep spinning everything and digressing.

This is to stop people subscribing for a month when there's a fight they want to see and cancelling their sub straight after....

Your agenda pushing non-sense is comically prescriptive. You're STILL doing everything I pointed out. It's hilarious. LOL

Exactly. DAZN only need 3 or so legit US PPV stars, with $20 fights in separate months, to make a yearly sub cost effective to fans. Right now they only have Canelo but they're clearly making moves to try and change that.

I understand what they're doing and the annual price really is a good deal. I think doubling the per month rate is kinda like cutting off their nose to spite their face and may backfire. I was seriously considering month to month until they came out with the new rate schedule. I already have netflix, hulu, my kids X-Box live etc......I'm not interested in being tied down for a year with something else.

And so it continues. You again must have the final say and you again must insist the other poster is insane, stupid or on drugs once you realise you've been exposed. Next you'll be digressing and doing some strawman tangential BS.

Your pattern is still exactly as I pointed out before. You're like a bot programmed to follow the same pro-MisMatchroom algorithm for all eternity. It's sad really :(

Yeah, paying more money for the same service is great! I hope they increase the price three or four more times!!!! LOLZ

    :borra2::lol:
I promise, I won't respond to you in this thread, if you can find my quote where I was trying to push some agenda.

All I said is that no one knows the official numbers. Never argued that they were high, never argued against them being low.
Yet somehow you have dragged Hearn into this.
