Pacquiao 5. D Garcia 6. Horn 7. porter 8. lipinets It will go with 1 vs 8 2 vs 7 3 vs 6 4 vs 5 With the winners of 1 vs 8 and 4 vs 5 in the first semi finals and the second semi final consisting of 2 vs 7 and 3 vs 6 with the winners of these semi finals going against each other in the final. The fights will all be on neutral ground and have fair judging. The versions of fighters will be the ones from their recent performances Spence vs lipinets - I have Spence breaking lipinets down from the start to the later rounds with Spence getting the ko in the later rounds of the fight - Spence Crawford vs porter - this would be a close fight with porters style initially giving Crawford trouble but once he adjusts Crawford is able to win the rest of the fight closely but convincingly via UD - Crawford Thurman vs horn - I have Thurman winning this fight but it would be much closer than expected with horn doing better than people thought and Thurman not being at his best but doing enough To win via UD - Thurman Pacquiao vs Garcia - this fight would be a good one to watch with both having their moments throughout but Imo pacquiao would be able to show his superior skill and start to control the fight as it goes on but Garcia to always be a live fighter throughout - pacquiao The semi finals would be Spence vs pacquiao Crawford vs Thurman Spence vs pacquiao - I think Spences youth and superior strength would be the difference with him pushing pacquiao onto the backfoot and making it awkward for pacquiao. Pacquiao would have success but ultimately Spence would control the fight to win via UD - Spence Crawford vs Thurman - I could see Crawford just having his way with Thurman and controlling the fight and either winning a comfortable UD or getting the late ko - Crawford Spence vs Crawford - it would be a great fight with momentum swinging both ways but ultimately I could see Crawford just being able to do enough to win a close ud or sd vs Spence - Crawford How does everyone else see this tournament going?
1. Spence beats Lipinets via decision or late stoppage 2. Pac beats Garcia on points 3. Crawford gets a close decision or a split decision against Porter. 4. Thurman obliterates Horn In the semi finals: Spence will get an easy decision against Pac basically because people will say that Spence was much bigger. Crawford is getting a really chill decision against Thurman. And finally Spence vs Crawford would be really really interesting to see and I hope someday we will see it. This fight goes to a trilogy for sure. It will be very close. Idk... I feel like if Spence reaches the final he will gain more and more experience and confidence and would edge a very close decision against Crawford. I don't hate Crawford but he really needs to fight against better opposition. So far Crawford is overrated for me, I hope he proves me wrong, he seems like a pretty cool guy, I follow him around the social media.

It's a damn shame we'll never see most of these match ups. There's enough quality out there in pretty much every division for brilliant fights every week but promoters/networks are spoiling it.
Spence will probably stop Lipinets, Lipinets is just a bit too easy to hit. Maybe he can go 12 if he fights to survive, but that's not Lipinets' way. Spence TKO Porter would actually cause Crawford some problems for a while, but Crawford should eventually figure out what to do and get a competitive UD. Crawford UD Thurman at his best would beat Horn comfortably, but if the version we saw last shows up, anything could happen, even the upset. I will charitably assume Thurman shakes off a bit of the rust and can win a clear UD. Thurman UD Garcia vs Pacquiao is a good fight, honestly I think if Danny came determined and focussed he has a chance against old Pacquiao … but the fact that he dodged the fight makes me think he doesn't fancy his chances, so …. Pacquiao UD Spence vs Pacquiao won't end well for Pac, probably Spence is too big and stops Pac. Spence TKO Crawford vs Thurman. Now I would actually give peak Thurman a good shot at the upset here … but I'm not sure we're particularly likely to see peak Thurman again, for a while at least. Crawford UD Spence vs Crawford. Now this is the hot debate, it should be a very close fight. I've always picked Spence, and so far have been right vs Brook and Mikey ... so not about to stop now. Horn is no longer a welterweight. His last bout was at Middleweight. We all know he had been struggling to make 147 for a while so the move up was inevitable. Wouldn't be surprised if he wound up at Light Middleweight but I'd be shocked if he ever fought at 147 again. I think struggling to make weight affected his performance vs Crawford.
I won't include breakdowns of my reasoning (because I can get long winded) pre lims: Spence w Lipinets Crawford w Porter Thurman w Horn (why is he even in?) Garcia w Pac Semi: Spence w Garcia Crawford w Thurman Finals: Crawford w Spence (ask me tomorrow I'll probably say the opposite) Prior to his retirement I would've said Thurman beats everyone, I seriously doubt he's the same person. I need to see at least 2 or 3 more fights where he shows his previous form.
Spence takes it. Not sure Crawford beats the best version of Thurman. The best Thurman would be Crawford's toughest opponent yet.
