wlad was too often destroyed by smaller nobodies, whilst prime, to be given a chance here. Sorry but H2H at top level is not his forte.

Murder charges would be filed against Wladimir for murder. No other outcome possible.

    Superior skills, no as well.

Bowe was dumb as a bunch of rocks. He could only fight going forward. His chin and willingness to duke it out in the trenches are the only things he has over Wlad.

Because Holyfield represents every single HW that ever lived. :buenrollo:

When will people stop repeating this nonsense?

I recently rewatched Bowe vs Cooper. Even at 22, with a huge height and reach advantage and faster hands, Bowe chose to fight on the inside against Cooper and took way more punishment as a result than he would have had he simply hung back and picked Cooper off at range. This was just ingrained in Bowe; he couldn't fight any other way. It worked wonders against smaller fighters but it made him a sitting duck to taller ones that had the skills and physical strength to keep him off them.

I'd sooner pick Bowe over Joe Frazier or Joe Louis than any version of Wlad, based solely on the stylistic factor.

Riddick Bowe would have stopped Wlad within 5 rounds. Everyone who says Wlad beats Bowe always point to Golota. Of course Wlad would beat that version, Bowe was beyond finished by the time he fought Golota. Bowe was over it by the time he beat Herbie Hyde and completely finished by his third fight with Holyfield and that was 1 1/2 years earlier. Bowe 91-94 would've completely had his way with Wlad, would've stopped Golota as well. He definitely would've been able to get inside with Wlad and bring an inside war to him. Wlad wouldn't have been able to keep him off. There are very few big men that were as capable as Bowe on the inside, he was a nightmare. What wars have Wlad won with a guy his size that actually had better punch variety on the inside?

Bowe's prime was short as hell but it was phenomenal. Only person I'd take beating him for certain around that time would've been Lennox, he'd be a live dog against everyone else.

Prime for prime, Vitali has a shot to outpoint Bowe because his skills and solid chin.

    But Wlad gets wrecked.

Bowe is one of the worst matchups for Wlad because he would get in your face no matter what. His reach would mean he would only have to land one solid shot to get Wlad going.
Wlad would have to avoid getting hit solidly for 12 rds ( no way he stops prime Bowe)

He always admitted to have a weak chin and fought to protect it. Against another giant like himself, with skills and chin, it would spell disaster.

Great post but no chance in hell would I say prime Bowe loses to LL for certain, and LL is by far my favorite HW of the last 30-40 years with Bowe, Mercer, Holyfield, and Vitali trailing him in no particular order and I have LL as the best H2H HW -- or at least top 3 -- of all time. Prime Bowe vs prime LL would have been a world war. We as fans really were robbed of possibly the greatest HW fight in the last 50 years, and if I had to put my money down it would definitely always be on LL but it would have been an incredible bang up and I would by no means be surprised if Bowe pulled off the upset.

Wlad dominated Hay much more than Bowe did Holyfield.
