How does the Orchid Man fare? How long does he maintain a Top 10 position? Does he take a belt from Bowe, Holy or Lewis? Or does he make hay against McCall?

Write me a short narrative of how this plays out. 200 words or less.

With 90's nutrition maybe he will make cruiserweight.

Top 5 middleweight maybe. Lock in Top 10.

I think Carpentier in 90's light heavyweight scene would be more interesting.

Tbh I feel the onus is on you here.

Explain to me why a man who was knocked in 6 times in his first 73 fights below LHW would not be a suitable contender in the 90's HW seen.

    100 words or less.

At the ages of 14, 15 (giving up 15 pounds), 16 (his manager threw up the sponge), 16 (against a 29 year old), 17 (against a 27 year old Dixie Kid), and 18 (against Billy Papke, and he wasn't KOed this time either).

He could pick up the European heavyweight title from Jean-Maurice Chanet.
But for being competitive against world class fighters he'd be best off at middleweight, super-middle and light-heavy.

So, would we have ever heard of a heavyweight Carpentier had he arrived and tried to conquer the heavyweight division?

Carpentier turned professional age 14 and weighed 100 pounds. Are you imagining a scenario where that little kid goes straight in with the heavyweights ?

I guess we would have heard about it yeah.

He fought at heavyweight, did he not? OK, then. How would he fare doing the same in the 1990's. Pretty cut and dry question.

    Yeah, I already answered that.
He might become European champion with a win over Chanet.
Which is about all he did anyway. In his era. At HW.

He destroys Bowe, beats up Holyfield and Lewis is found cowering under the bed clutching a teddy bear after witnessing the unholy destructions of Bowe and Holyfield.
