    @MVC!

    After Floyd losing several rounds vs. MMA fighter McGregor, what would the elite in 2019 do to that guy?

    I think Floyd should stay retired or he could get seriously hurt in the ring.

    What you guys think?

    He wasn’t even trying, he let Mcgregor hit him like that.

    I’d definitely favor crawford or Spence over him.

    FMJ could have sparked McGregor out in the 1st round. Instead, h let it go on because he wanted to give the fans excitement and feel they got their 'moneys worth'. excellent game-plan and marketing.

    The only boxer I think he'd return to fight would be Manny for stupid money. I don't think he'd go near a Crawford or Spence.

    He's shot, both Crawford and Spence beat him comfortably.

    He did fool around with McG though...

    Floyd could have knocked McGregor out in round 1 if he really wanted to.

    Let's get this straight, the current Floyd is way past it and would lose to all these guys. But...if we assume Floyd is at least a decent version of himself, then I think it would go like this:

    I think Floyd in his earlier years when he was smaller struggles against Spence, but the older second stage Floyd beats Spence on points fairly comfortably.

    Floyd vs Crawford is the ultimate matchup of two fighters who adapt to what's in front of them. I think that is one of the most intriguing fights I can think of, every round would likely be a different story and it would be really back and forth. I think I see a razor close Floyd win in that fight, but wouldn't rule Crawford out. I feel like Floyd has a bit more power than Crawford and maybe that would give him a slight edge in the later rounds.

    The one problem I think Floyd faces is against a good version of Shawn Porter. Not the one that fought a few weeks back, but the one that fought maybe a year or two ago. We've seen Floyd struggle against pressure fighters before and Porter is certainly one of those. I feel Porter may win on points based on just being a nightmare of constant aggression for Floyd. He'll be all over Floyd like a rash, and I'm not sure Floyd will deal with it. Floyd will play on the counter, but I think Porter is just about clever enough to find a way around that. This is the one I see Floyd losing, but by a very close decision.

    Thurman poses no problems for Floyd, I think Floyd is better in almost every aspect and I don't see what could trouble him in that matchup. I'm thinking Floyd on points by a wide margin.

    Obviously we know the Pacquiao situation. But that gap would certainly close if it happened this year and again, Pacquiao's pressure game would be more refined this time around and I think he could pull it off. Any decent version of Floyd beats him though I feel.

    Danny Garcia would go the distance with Floyd, but like Thurman, he doesn't really have anything to offer that gives him a major advantage against Floyd. I expect Floyd to win on points by wide decision.

    Then we have Amir Khan. This is quite interesting, it's a game of timing against speed. In my mind I see Floyd catching him on the counter far too much, but in other people's opinions I can see why Amir would cause problems. I personally think Amir would have his moments, but nowhere near enough and would lose to Floyd on points, or possibly a late KO.
