Who'd be the 1 to make it w/o being KO'd?

Yeah I'd say that Tunney was better than Biggs. Biggs was just bigger (no pun intended)

Basically, if Tyson circa 86-88 was put in a time machine and shot back in time as is and had to defeat said opponents in order to get back to the future.

Biggs had more talent. Quicker more dynamic footwork, better length, better height, more dynamic jab.

Cocaine and Tyson were his undoing.

I find it hard to cosign that Biggs was a better boxer than Tunney

Regardless of pure boxing ability (which imo Tunney has him, it's irrefutable that Tunney had a better boxing brain, he'd strategize to beat any one and he did it whole career

I don’t like seeing all the hate for Tunney guy was 65-1. People acting like he couldn’t fight. Having said that, he’s too small for Tyson. Tyson chops him down quickly.

No hate for Tunney at all. He looks marvelous on film. But he was a heavyweight non-entity, one step above Roy Jones in that department. People extrapolate winning a couple 10 rounders against a stale "great" whose best days were 7 years before into all kinds of accomplishments in that division. It's a bit maddening.

That’s fair. You’re right. Yeah at heavyweight he had like what 7 total fights I forget. And he beat Dempsey twice. Overall though he was a great fighter. He’s too small for post 60s fighters but I wish he would of hung around for Sharkey and Schmeling. And although probably too old for a Louis match that fight would of been something.

When does his focus start to waver?

Fair Question. And to add, How far does his focus have to waver for him to be beat by this bunch?

Let's not forget that he almost had Douglas out of there despite his extreme lack of focus leading up to the fight.

Lets also not forget that Douglas was very low on the list of candidates to upset him!

The hindsight always kicks in after an upset.
