    One thing I will say, Fowler looked spent after 6, he must have been saving something for that 9th round, so maybe he paced it incorrectly?

    Let the personal stuff get to him, really want to finish this early instead of trying to box and break Fitzy down.

    If Fowler started a little slower, a little more measured and stuck behind that jab for the first few rounds he might have been able to win a couple of those middle rounds.

    tbh Fitzgerald was more of a dick than Fowler was in their post-fight interviews

    I thought Fowler was reasonably humble in the post fight interview. I'm sure theyll get it on again later this year.

    Yeah, he was, that was humble for Fowler, that's about as good as he gets so fair play, bitter pill to swallow.

    Pretty much what I said. Boxed a terrible fight - he should have known Fitzgerald has an iron chin if they spent so much time together. Like macklin just said, he spent way too much loading into punches early on and then look at him in the 2nd half of the fight.
