Can u please tell us exactly what your level was in bodybuilding, your strength levels in the powerlifts and your boxing career? Im curious as to why you are so sure about this. You can stay anonymous whilst giving us a clue as to your exact cred.
Sure, started lifting in high school and hung around internet lifting communities, though it was before the fitness trend blew up. Stopped lifting and boxed purely in college. Didn't do strength training. Took a break from boxing and started lifting. Dabbled with everything you an use.. Came back to boxing (but not intending to compete anymore) while on peds and still lifting. Ate 3500 calories daily and found that I could not make any progress on the weights even though I was on peds with 3.5k calories after boxing was included. Reduced calories to cut some weight and quickly became overtrained even when using. Know many natural and not so natural lifters. At the gym, most of the serious lifters are using, and the ones who aren't are the side characters that don't stand out lol. I've also been in camp with some natural and some not natural pros. If I was a pro I'd be a fool not to use PEDs, because there's a huge edge lacking for those who aren't using. I also have a chemistry background, so researching this stuff isn't difficult for me.
It's not a trend in my sphere for people to say that. Sounds like some bull**** you made up. Bottom line, in my opinion, Joshua doesn't look like a juice head. Sure he's muscular, but that doesn't mean he's juicing.
The only thing I know for sure is that a lot of people that go to your local gym are on roids. It's not hard to believe when they are so easy to come by. Buy some bitcoin and use that as payment and you can get a cycle of dbol for 25$ and put on 15-25 lbs in a few weeks on your first cycle. A lot of people have a hard time turning that down.
Lets face facts. You do not know AJ is on anything illegal, just as I don't. I 100% know for sure that anything out there that is not on the banned substance list or ones that are which have a scale of use, sports men and women will use to benefit them in their careers till they are told otherwise or are placed on the banned list ala meldonium
It's a well known stereotype of blacks being more physically gifted and "black genetics" is often spouted in natural bodybuilding communities, though not in steroid communities. I've done some estimates from usage statistics and the usage is pretty startling when you narrow it down to males who are dedicated lifters. They sell like hot cakes and it's dirt cheap. Of course unless there's a positive test we don't know for sure, but common sense dictates there's a high likelihood he is. Consider the rampant usage in teen sports, college sports, and amateur sports that are much less physically demanding than boxing. Now see the rampant history of doping in the Olympics. Boxing is a one on one sport where all the pressure is on you. It takes fierce competitiveness to be in this sport and there are potentially millions on the line. Who wouldn't dope lol? The ones who don't dope don't want it badly enough, and you need to really want it to make it in this sport. It's risk:reward and masking your usage from testing isn't hard. Boxers already put their lives on the line when they box, so you think they will be scared to take that low risk? In addition, they all want knock outs, so why would they concerned if being on PEDs can hurt their opponents? It's what they want. So I'm not holding it against AJ for using PEDs, because they're all using at the top level. It's leveling the playing field. He just responds very well to anabolics. I'm just sick of how naive people are thinking everyone is natural these days.
thanks for ur reply,i see ur talent with chemistry. Im an ex international masters powerlifter that has seen first hand incredible feats of strength whilst drug tested so have a hard time accepting that EVERYONE good is on the juice. I believe you when you say in your experience etc etc but thats your experience. Mines different. You re a good poster though.
I think Joshua's body is attainable without steroids. The one thing that bothers me is his distended stomach, which is a classic sign of enhancers. But his stomach is only a little distended, enough that it could just be a natural thing. BTW, if I cared about being muscular, I'd rather have a body like Wlad's. He looked like a superhero.
He's had a TUE for testosterone. No denial from him or his camp... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...nging-aj-out-to-dry-whyte-goes-public.625100/
And that's basically the bottom line here: 1. Joshuas and Wlad Klitschko's body types are attainable WITH and WITHOUT the use of illegal medication. 2. People make the mistake of seeing a ripped physique of someone, then looking at themselves in the mirror and then deducing that steroids must be used to look ripped. Truth is many boxers who were banned for substance abuse did not have an overly athletic look at all: James Toney, Erkan Teper or Frans Botha come to mind.
Tommy Morrison I remember saying that to compete at the elite/top you need steroids or your at a disadvantage, he also said he was a cruiser with out them..
Ok, let's expand the question. Show me any athlete prior to the 1950s of a comparable size and leanness to Joshua.
he has toomuch mass, it slows him down and wears him out. He is bruno 2, in a nutshell, but XXL size.
Who's saying natural athleticism or genetic factors don't play a part? Joshua is obviously a top level athlete, as is almost everyone who reaches the upper echelons of the sport. That doesn't mean he doesn't use PEDs. It's not an either or proposition. Even if Joshua never touched a PED and worked out like crazy he'd have an edge over most people because his body clearly responds well, both aesthetically and functionally, to hard training. But he wouldn't look like he does right now. He'd have considerably less muscle mass and a smoother, less swollen look, or he'd have the same level of muscle mass but a hell of a lot more bodyfat covering it. That's just the way the human body works, regardless of "genetics". As for Joshua's physique being attainable naturally, well, you've failed to provide any examples of boxers prior to the steroid era that looked like Joshua, so that line of argument's already taken a bit of a hit. For me, I can hardly even think of a bodybuilder with a comparable LMM to BF ratio that looked like Joshua, and most of the guys that come close were midgets who worked out full time and didn't have to worry about cardio, sparring or anything like that.
LMAO. are people here really arguing whether a 6'6 250 lbs super athlete earning Millions (and millions) of pounds is taking roids or not? Don't be so naive.
