yesterday I saw a much improved García! He had more pop and sat better on his punches!
I would like to see him rematch Velez or morales and see how much he has improved! He is obviously the most marketable prospect out of all in terms of reaching an audience outside hardcore boxing fans! This dude has crossover potential. If I’m a promoter I want this kid because I know he can make me a lot of money.

Why do most hardcore boxing fans hate him? He is getting the same type of hate Oscar used to get. The kid is only 20. Slot of good boxers started late like Sergio Martinez, Bernard and even Antonio tarver.

This kid has a bright future ahead of him!!!

ryan is overrated 1 trick pony. he has fast hands with decent pop but everything else he does is below average. he'll lose to any of the top lightweights.

I am really curious as to how far Reynoso can push Garcia. Ryan has talent but lacks boxing IQ. Yet Reynoso and his father have done a marvelous job with Alvarez. It will be a testament to how good they are as trainers.

I don't think anyone hates him.

But we know he's going to be brought along the homo route and never face any challenges - unless challenges are defined as 40yr old fat Mexicans he's allowed to beat down.

Think he's #4 to Tank' belt and #1 for the WBO. Will they accept title shots at either? No.

    Khan v.1.5 imo.
He a very fast and quick gunslinger but we haven't seen his durability tested.
So he stays Khanito until prooven not guilty.

I waiting on that also. Eddie was telling him to feint but Ryan maybe did it like once. I think they are mainly working on that defense

I don’t think so. I think Garcia can be much better!!! Khans style was made for the ammys which is why could never make that leap in the pros were people are going for the k.o and not just points.

He seems like He has great potential. I'll give him another couple years before I expect him too fight the best.

Shakur Stevenson is way better, and would out box Ryan!

I don’t think his is big enough for Ryan!!! Ryan is two weight classes ahead. In spite of not having Olympic pedigree he is far more popular and marketable than Stevenson at this point!
