Joshua is making Fury and Wilder look like fools

Fury and Wilder just fought each other. Two of the top three fighting each other. AJ didn’t. So no, AJ is not making anyone look foolish.

 

Wilder and co thought Fury was finished. That is the only reason they took the fight.

Since then his promoters have tried to protect him from a Fury rematch or a Joshua fight while Fury's management have since capitalised on his new found popularity.

If anything, its Joshua being squeezed into the harder challenges. At least he is making more money than them (combined) though.

 

Fury is looking like a bit of a patsy fighting Tom Schwartz after all the comeback talk.

Wilder? It's impossible to make him look any more foolish than he already is.

 

Each fighter has a narrative that their fans can follow, however sceptical outside observers may be. Fury is taking the easiest route, but he's also built up a big reserve of support for stepping up in LA ahead of schedule and for getting jibbed on the cards there, so he has some latitude from his own supporters at least.

Wilder was getting a lot of flack just over 12 months ago for the poor quality of opposition, but Ortiz and Fury have changed that narrative, whatever the reservations on each mans physical condition. Breazeale is mandatory and a legitimate contender as well as a step above nearly all of his past opponents so he gets a pass too.

Joshua came out badly from the Wilder negotiation farce thanks to his 'Fifty million gaffe, but subsequent events, the cards in LA, conceding a generous split and most recently the massive Dazn offer have played in his favour. Most are interested in him fighting in the US and Miller talks the talk and looks the part plus is the highest ranking of the three opponents. So AJ looks in good shape to me from a pr perspective.

 

He looks terrible. Even the most casual observers can see he doesn't look the part. He's an overweight plodder in the ring.
He looks like a nightclub bouncer at best.

Kudos to the awful Miller for talking his way into this fight; but really it's just a "Welcome to America" for AJ.

 

Fury and Wilder have reached their full potential honestly and there is no upper gear from where they currently are . AJ still has levels in him and AJ is the MAN in the division he is the one unified and unbeaten .

Swear down the AJ - Fury fight will not happen until Fury is 100% otherwise he knows he will get whopped by AJ again .
The AJ - Wilder fight will never happen unless Wilder promoters or US TV networks gank him into it .

 

Exactly. The governing bodies who put Fury in the top 3 off the back of fighting Seferi and Pianetta after a 2 1/2 year after party, should have been called out for trolling. The likes of Whyte, Povetkin and Miller to a lesser extent, had earnt their respective rankings by being active and defeating ranked and fringe contender opponents. Only the WBC could rank Fury so highly and keep a straight face.

Fury has done very well for himself since I'll admit but, that is as much down to Wilder and his fail cherry pick, with Fury duping Wilders team and many of the fans into thinking he was all but done. Now Fury is back in his comfort zone, he is back to fighting soft touches with very little risk until that big opportunity arises i.e. Joshua or Wilder rematch. There's no way on this earth that Fury will fight an Usyk, Whyte or Hrgovic prior to those 'Superfights'.

Wilder on the other hand is stuck fighting Breazeale who he should beat but is a definite, potential banana skin. If the Fury rematch doesn't get made after that then we will be witness to him squirming his way out of the Whyte mandatory, at which point we may finally see the AJ fight being made as it will be seen by Wilder as similar risk and far greater reward.

True but much like how Holyfield said he benefited from Bowe and Tyson ducking Lewis to fight him, Fury benefited from Wilder ducking Joshua. Wilder took the supposedly easier fight in Fury when Fury looked less than 100%.

Fury himself was left frozen out of a Joshua fight as Hearn said Fury had to show he could beat someone decent first to build the fight, so Fury with no other options took on Wilder when many said it was too soon.

Joshua fought Wlad remember a fight Wilder never tried to make. So Joshua himself has been in a fight with a top 3 fighter and he clearly has the deepest resume of the 3 with Wlad, Whyte, Povetkin and Parker.

 

I don't actually share the opinion that Wilder is the worst ever World Heavyweight Champion. There have been many, far worse. He can't box for ****, only looking good windmilling away on static opponents and overmatched stiffs. My main issue with Wilder is his mouth, or rather the absolute drivel that pours out of it. I've rarely ever encountered anyone who contradicts himself so much and overhypes himself, only to take the risk averse route.

6 years a champion and only 2 mandatories in Ortiz (massively overrated) and Stiverne who was an absolute state. No unification fights and no real desire to make them either. Then we have the now 7-8 genuine offers sent his way to fight for all the marbles and ultimate glory and career defining, legacy making match up with AJ which he blatantly doesn't want to take for fear of getting a gargantuan ass whooping.

Yep, there are worse champions throughout history than Wilder, but none so infuriating and down right deluded. I can't even sit through a whole interview with the ***** nowadays because of all the bull sheet.

 

Plodders don't don't cut the ring off and move like Miller does. Its clearly observable he's not a plodder if you watch him fight.
