Except Bruno actually winning the WBC strap by beating McCall.

And as pointed out, Ruddock was gone at that point, virtually retired at that point, with only a pointless comeback in his future and no victims of note.

Foreman would never take the fight, ever, too much risk.........he hand picked every opponent in his comeback , except Holyfield none had a pulse and all were chinny.

Let that sink in for a minute.......he could not stop glass chinned Stewart/Saverese/Morrison/Schultz but he is going do a number on Bruno ? Laughable, Bruno is easily several notches better than the above.

Foreman was such a killer in his comeback that after he landed a lucky punch against another glass chinned Light Heavy he rather got stripped of his belts than facing anybody worth a lick........and even the hand picked Kraut back fired on him.

He hadn`t lost his punch but was on the bulky side, but Bruno would not have got off the floored after being floored by Ruddock, he never did that any time he was knocked down.

Foreman said he would never take the fight v Bruno because he was too big, but Bruno`s chin and stamina was not several notches above any of Foreman`s comeback opponents, If Foreman landed on Bruno the way he landed on Cooney therre`s no way Bruno would survive, that was his best KO during his comeback by miles.

Ruddock`s ability to land power punches was better than McCall`s was v Bruno, he didn`t have a clue, he was awful that night, Tommy would have jabbed his head off, like he did to Foreman.

Ferguson was 38 when he fought Bruno, Williams was 33, P.Coetzer was 31 but not any better than Stewart who was Stewart was 28 when he fought Foreman, I don`t know why Bruno never fought Stewart. (Stewart unfortunately died in 2016).

Against Foreman, Tommy flurried and ran. He made a show of winning the exchanges and got the h*ll out of Dodge. He had to thank his stars that he was fighting a fat, old man who couldn't catch him. He was literally running, gasping for breath with his back turned from Foreman. One must ask, if that was Tommy's true winning strategy why didn't he try it against other opponents?

Hint: Perhaps because they were a bit more spry.

Nah, Bruno's not several notches above them.
Bruno has a better chin that Morrison.

Bruno had great management and a great following in the UK and they carved him out a career. He really wasn't much good though.

What about Bruno flooring and KO'ing Ruddock?

Three times, the first time was when he was destroyed by Smith, the second was when Witherspoon stopped him and the third time was when he was floored by Tyson in the first round of their first fight and yes he did get up to hurt Mike but didn`t win and he was floored in their rematch and again failed to rise.

Bruno would have very nervous of the smash, he didn`t get off the line of center after punching so would have been vdery open to getting caught by the smash, Morrison`s hook was faster than Bruno`s right hand.

Mark it's pretty obvious you don't rate Bruno at all which is fair enough. However you've got him down as some sort of quivering wreck in there who's frightened of his own shadow.

Fair enough, I used to be a big fan of Frank when I was a kid, I just feel he was really overrated.
