George Foreman followed up the title winning demolition of the unbeaten Frazier with a title defence in Japan against Jose Roman.
I have only watched fight once the against Gashi in which he struggled against Gashi losing numerous of rounds (his jab is weak and defence was very poor)before the DQ. Based on that fight Dinu and Kabayel would beat him very easily. I'd pick Charr and Kuzmin against him too. I honestly think Schwarz is closer to De Mori and Gjergjaj level.
He might do. I think Schwarz is possibly more likely of making the fight interesting than Jarrell Miller is capable of doing with Joshua, to be honest. Not because he's better than Miller, his record suggests not, but Miller is made for Joshua But I haven't seen much of Schwarz. Either way, it's a bad fight to make.
Michael Dokes was a former world titlist (albeit shot to oblivion), a former titlists scalp will always be worth something. Ferguson, I agree with. This Fury fight (I am a Fury fan), is packaged ****. There are an abundance of decent HWs he could've selected.
Watch more, that's a terrible match to judge him on. Gashi usually fights like David Lemieux, unlike his cagey performance against Takam, and yeah that style gave Schwarz a few problems. But that's nothing like Fury fights. Tom has usually looked halfway decent, and usually has a much better jab against fighters that don't crowd him non stop. So don't base anything off of that one. Also, am I saying Schwarz has a chance, hell no, but.... who does? Anyone who's not Wilder or Joshua at this point will be ripped to shreds. Since Miller is busy, Ortiz just fought, Pulev is going to need awhile to recover from his eye injury, who exactly is available? Whyte? He's with Hearn. Schwarz isn't a great fight, but also not a bad fight.
Lol well Fury and Charlie Z both fought Wilder, and they both think they are gods gift to boxing no matter who they fight next. Illusions of grandeur.
Good stay busy fight , Schwartz isn't a top 20 guy or even 30 but Furys not a champion , he doesn't owe anyone a big fight after a WBC robbery. Neither Fury or Wilders goal is creating a monumental history for themselves , that's Joshua . You can't really cry about anything if you are a fan of Fury , this is what your getting and is expected , Wilder is just another circus act holding up the sport , cheering for either of these two is just another way of slipping notes in a suggestion box . They're goal isn't pleasing fans , ones goal is trying to keep his 0 and the other just fights big fights when he feels like it , they only fought each other because one thought the other was washed up and the other knew his opponent would lack fundamental skills to win . lol
Of the top 3s next fights only Wilders is even remotely competitive. I would still have Wilder as the favourite but if Fury and Joshua were to lose it would be a massive upset. I suppose Fury can be forgiven due to his inactivity and Schwarz, on paper, has shown that he should be pushing top ten. Hughie Fury is top ten and id back Schwarz to beat him. It's the next fight for each that should be interesting. Fury/Joshua/Wilder/Whyte they should be the next fights for each, if they all win of course.
It’s like Foreman’s line up after beating Moorer, except Grimsley is probably the only guy worse than Schwartz.
I hate to break it to you, but Hughie Fury is nowhere near the top ten. Schwartz might be ahead of him already.
