Norton too Savage for Primo ,he'd have no fears attacking him from the start .Kenny stops him in 10 .

Carnera was a giant. He had underrated skills and could whack! This is a man who scored more KO's than George Foreman. In fact he scored more KO's than Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier combined.

Norton had issues with punchers and a 6"5 muscle bound behemoth could be his kryptonite. I think Kenny gets short shrift on here on occasion but you mofo's keep matching him so damn tough as this match up shows. Give Kenny one he can win guys!

    Anyway Carnera KO 4.

My pick would be Norton on points or late stoppage. Carnera would give a decent showing in a losing effort.

Carnera wasn't a puncher.Primo isn't stopping Kenny, and he sure aint outboxing him.

Carnera had issues with punchers ,all those he met beat him and he was dropped by moderate punchers into the bargain!

Lol Carnera really could crack with that right, let us not rewrite the history that's already there.

That being said, Norton by UD

No Carnera was not a puncher, and we have the first hand accounts from his opponents confirming it! eg Larry Gains and Joe Louis. What you have are stats and stats can be and were in this case, "manipulated by outside forces".

Did Carnera even land a solid punch on Louis?

Yes it was fixed when Carnera killed Earnie Schaaf, lifted Sharkey into the air with an uppercut and made heads shake like a bobblehead with his flurries

Perhaps he hid behind his jab too much and wasn't very accurate, but he could hit, no question

You think Carnera was responsible for Schaaf's death?
What am I doing even replying to you!

Honestly, even if all his fights were on the level, his number of KOs isn't nearly as impressive when you look at the kind of fighters many were against.

Yeah I agree completely Mac. I was being facetious.

Any time Kenny is matched with someone with even a semi decent punch he’s either picked against or tipped with the disclaimer that he could also be knocked out. I was playing to that because Carnera has an impressive KO record on paper even though we all know his record was padded to hell and he wasn’t a puncher at all.

Norton was only stopped when he was green and old excepting the Foreman fight. He was a genuine world class, excellent fighter who gets sold a bit short for mine.

I think Kenny wipes the floor with Carnera and hammers him to a TKO stoppage by 10, with only Carnera’s courage (something which was legit) allowing him to last that long.
