This would be a good one. N'dam may be knocking on but he's younger than triple G and is Ring top ten,

It needs to be signed soon though, the date is not much more than two months away.

At least 4 years too late, like Floyd vs Pac when it happened.
I'll watch it, but only to see Hassan get spanked for ducking Golovkin that long n'damnit!

Man i agree with you on the post! GGG is showing signs of aging and has for a few fights starting at the Wade bout noticed something different. GGG was avoided for years, yes he is burnt out and over the hill so a fight against a HNN is a good measuring stick at this point! But even a shell of GGG was enough to beat Canelo in the first first bout and give a juiced up Canelo a run for his money in the second bout I did have GGG losing that bout I know many disagree.

...watch, I'm officially going to become the most isolated and friendless person on this forum in the run-up of this match.

I've alienated the Golovkin haters already, being the voice of reason and sanity that I am in maintaining that he beat Canelo twice. Now, however, the GGG stans will turn on me, as I'm going to be rooting hard for HNN to pull off a miracle here...one that I've always harbored a glimmer of hope that he might have in him, as perhaps GGG's greatest stylistic foil this side of Pirog. :deal:

This ain't no spur of the moment, capricious, on-a-whim bandwagon shit, either - I've been at the helm of the N'Dam Express for a motherfucking decade:

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/hassan-ndam-njikam.174475/

...and have been a fan of his long before I ever gave a shit about GGG. (in fact I'm not sure I have ever given more than half a shit about GGG. I respect his accomplishments. I found his aw shucks "good boy" schtick mildly endearing. I find the contingent of haters to be an irrational group comprised of either American exceptionalism grunts or delusional Mexicans who think Álvarez walks on water...but I can't say Golovkin ever fully won me over. Certainly not enough that I'm going to be happy if he drills HNN as everybody assumes... incorrectly :D)

Take away irrational GGG haters and irrational GGG stans, and you're left with <<<<<<<<<<<<<< 0.1% of the boxing fan population.

Remind me to mock you when Gennady drops him 5 times towards a mercy stoppage.

N'Dam past his best but this would be better for a tune up than the other names mentioned. Fine with this.

The second Murata fight kind of made me right off N'dam as a serious contender. Even still he is a tricky boxer and a decent comeback opponent. Hard not to see him hitting the deck multiple times in this fight though, him winning his fair share of rounds would not be surprising though.

Why the rematch, though? Murata was a bad set of styles and physical attributes for HNN, we already knew that from the first time. Really very little difference exists between those matches outside just enough minor adjustments from Murata to leave no doubt. :nusenuse:

...and old ass Gennady don't have that Ryōta engine. :deal:

The first was certainly bad, and the scoring was ridiculous but the rematch just looked like loss that marks the end of a career. I was surprised when I saw that he was fighting Murray recently. Didn't manage to catch the fight but saw that he won, how did he look? On a side note I expect Golovkin to open up a bit more than in recent fights (though still not as active as Murata). Not sure if the recent drop in activity is primarily Canelo related or that combined with age.

So now we're justifying Golovkin wasting one of his last fights against a fighter who is not even on David Lemiuex's level? LMAO

Golovkin by UD or KO, but definitely KDs will be suffered by the Cameroonian.

This thread was made before Golovkin vs N'Dam was even on the radar, so it is not justifying.

Golovkin has been all about the money since the first Canelo fight, he's just trying to get out with as much cash as possible, so don't expect anything much better than a N'Dam until Canelo III. He probably has something like 2 or 3 big fights and 3 or 4 soft touches left.

GGG will win very premature stoppage.
We know Ndam can get dropped a dozen times & still make it a close fight.
    My guess is premature stoppage.

What a big disappointment Golovkin as been. He never really went out of his way to take on a dangerous opponent, and the one time he sorta did with Jacobs and had that near disaster, he reverted back to his usual risk/reward ratio practices.
