Tbf to both Usyk and Hearn, they could have taken far easier fights. Not saying he's not a favourite over Takam, but Usyk could have been given a pass.

It's almost like Hearn's trying to rush him through or something, can't think why.

Usyk can box him for a ud without a doubt, I think late he could be teeing off on him maybe for a tko/ref stoppage even, the speed difference will be quite a lot. UD is the safe bet though

He'll try putting him through some tough fights before the inevitable Joshua showdown, bit of wear on him

Takam will be pulled out with bad cuts, similar stoppage like Joshua.

Usyk is making his HW debut against a tougher opponent than Wilder or Fury are fighting next so fair play to him.

Usyk will dominate Carlos from start to TKO stoppage. Usyk carries a little more power at heavyweight, after five rounds he was starting to do a number on Medzhidov and Joyce, if the gloves were any thinner, and the matches were longer, he'd of stopped both of them. The pinpoint accuracy of the shots will wreak havoc the in the land of the uncoordinated behemoths.

I think the Hearn signing was almost based on 2 fights then the AJ fight. Those fights will be to hype him up in good names but winnable fights. He will fight one smaller heavyweight in Takam and then it wouldn’t surprise me if he fights Povetkin because of the name or a Hughie Fury/ Charles Martin type to get closer to the AJ size. Then both guys are still in their peak. With Usyk he has the hype behind him now because he’s fought good level challengers. If he fights 5 or 6 winnable fights the destroyer moniker could be lost.

Tougher than Schwartz sure, but Breazeale would wreck Takam.

Almost exactly two years ago, Loma, Usyk and Gvozdyk fought there:
    Lomachenko vs. Jason Sosa,
    Usyk vs. Michael Hunter,
    Gvozdyk vs. Yunieski Gonzalez.

    I’d favour Takam.
