He got up, yes, so he should have won because he got up? That was Fury's best highlight of the fight and what he will live off for the rest of his career.

What about the other 10 rounds you ask?

Wilder scored two 10-8 rounds and only needed to have won 3 other rounds to make it a draw.

So out of 10 rounds where there was nothing in it, many very difficult to score, not even the most hardcore Fury cultist can pinpoint the exact rounds he ''schooled' Wilder in, so they just say the usual learned catchphrase that ''fury won'' ''fury school him'' and are of the belief that Fury won 10 rounds

Wilder I had winning 4 additional rounds out of that 10 and so easily could have been given the win, but Fury did have some good moments nothing more, so I'm not too fussed that it ended a draw.

As for the business side of the sport, a man with no belts, signing with up with a network which makes it very difficult if not impossible to fight the other top champions, isn't my idea of good business. The figures quoted are an estimate, not a reality. ESPN are banking on Fury hype selling well in the states.

The cold reality is that the American's are not as stupid of Britons and will not hold interest in watching Fury taunt and dance in front of tramps.

Saying that didn't your hero say he was all about fighting for legacy being a fighting man and not interested in money business

Let's not forget this famous quote

    ''I’m not interested in becoming a millionaire or a billionaire. I’m a boxer not a businessman ''

So which one is it pray tell?

As a fan of the sport, I'm not interested in how much money a fighter generates. The fury fans were criticizing Joshua fanboys when they were obsessed with figures , now you hypocrites are singing the same song.

There was more to it. He couldn’t acquire a boxing license because he tested positive for PED’s.

I want to see the best fight each other. That makes me a boxing fan.

You hero worship and do armchair accounting for a coward. That makes you a fanboy.

No. Those who expected him to lose weren't the ones walking into the ring so they do not have any bearing on the pressure he would have experienced fighting on a stage that huge for the first time in his career. Ability to handle that type of pressure on that level has to be built up over time. Fury handled it extremely well given his level of experience.
And I assure you Fury himself wasn't expecting to lose , he was fully expecting to win , as he had set his sights on beating Klitschko since the day he turned pro. There's also family pride and honor involved for a man like him , not to mention his undefeated record. So to say he felt no pressure in that fight is just silly. :icon_tfno:

You really are a terrible poster.

You're filled with so much emotion, that you are unable to even hold a debate.

Labelling Tyson as a coward, and labelling him as someone's hero, just because they don't agree with you.

These rants of yours are akin to Joe.Boxer's.

If you want an ACTUAL debate, then me and other posters will gladly give you one. But I'm not not going to trade childlike insults with you to address the above nonsense that you have posted.

Here's me thinking his mental health may have been a factor.

    How silly of me.

You would take the bait. He wouldn’t have bern allowed to fight either way.

I, like everybody else wants to see the best fight the best.

I'm not jumping up and down with joy that he's fighting Schwarz next. But what I am happy about, is the fact that he's still in a good frame of mind, he's still in good physical shape, and he's just signed a huge deal where he's obligated to remain active.

That is a huge boost to the division.

I don't care how much money he makes. The point I was making, was that this deal will obviously lead to bigger and better things.

He's not going to be paid huge money to fight 5 guys of the calibre of Tom Schwarz.

The deal obviously hopes to see him rematching Wilder and then fighting AJ.

ESPN are huge and Arum has been in the game years.

It would have been nice to see an instant rematch will Wilder. But as long as it happens at some point, which I'm sure it will, there's nothing wrong with a keep busy fight in the meantime.

    Take what bait?

You don't think he was mentally ill?

Taking a fight with Tom Schwarz is not evidence that he’s (1) in good physical shape, (2) of sound mind, or (3) willing to take bigger fights. It creates suspicion that one or more of those areas is a problem.

Fury is a bull**** artist and it wouldn’t be surprising if he tries to juice that deal while ultimately inducing financial loses for ESPN.

One of the best posters. Let's it get right/

You just don't like what you're hearing.

You asked questions, you received answers. That's part and parcel of a standard debate. You're making apologies for the indefensible, making silly points, which I find very difficult to take seriously, yet still I do my best to give you a kind response

Tyson Fraudery is the very definition of a coward. If that hurts you to hear that, then maybe you shouldn't come into my threads, because I will call a spade a spade.

How you can sit there and attempt to justify Fury fighting Tom Swharz is beyond me.

The fact is you can't justify it, it's a disgrace, especially after all the noise Fury was making about being a fighting man, something which endeared me to supporting him throughout his career, only to pull of this stunt.

Only a blind fanboy can support what Fury is doing to the sport of boxing.

You don’t get it. There are plenty of boxers with mental illnesss. Mental illness doesn’t pop up in your late twenties and vanish after a year or two. Mental illness comes in early adulthood and is there to stay with ebbs and flows.

Fury tested positive for PED’s and couldn’t get a boxing license. Because he’s well versed in manipulation, he spun the fiasco into a noble effort to conquer his mental health issues and the media and gullible fans ate it up. I imagine that a heavyweight champion would be sad if they were stripped of their belt and barred from boxing due to PED use...but it’s no coincidence whatsoever that the conquering of his “demons” coincided exactly with the timeframe when he was once again allowed to hold a boxing license.

Sure. Still doesn’t give him a pass to fight complete no hopers after showing what he’s capable of in his last fight.

Breazeale has already been knocked out by AJ, so have Whyte and Povetkin, doesn’t mean they’re poor opponents. Breazeale is certainly a far better opponent than Schwartz.

Most of the content of this post only exists in your own head. Please spare us the script writing and stick to facts.

    Thanks....

PS: Of the top three current HWs, Fury 2.0 was the last to the party, and somehow the fact the big fights are not happening is all his fault? What about Wilder and Joshua's fake dance for nearly two years? How's Fury to blame for that?

You have no idea what you're talking about. Mental illness doesn't just strike in early adulthood - typically it does, but not always. There's no time stamp for mental health issues. Total nonsense.

Can its impact be brought under control (vanish) after a year or two? If properly treated and managed, yes it can... although that is by no means typical and depends on the condition and its severity. Relapse is also something that's an ongoing issue.

Please, spare us the pop-psychology. It's embarrassing...
