That was not a good performance at all, I really don`t see what fans are seeing in Ike.

It's naive to assume a fighter looks amazing every single fight.

Yep, and Byrd was very green at the time. Not even close to prime. Prime Byrd would have embarrassed him.

Sorry, but I watched all of Tua's fights when they happened. He was not overrated, not by a long shot. He had a granite chin and real power. What he lacked was reach.

AJ, Usyk, Povetkin and Parker beat him in my opinion.

I think he's being underrated badly and he would wipe the floor with most if not all of the division.

Yes his stamina was MILES better. And the BS about being no better than Sam Peter....I'm convinced this guy never even saw Ibeabuchi in the ring.

Ikes workrate was 2nd to none. He threw an enormous amount of punches vs Tua that hasnt been emulated since. He would be in my opinion be up with the very best today

i mean he would have been able to win a title, at some point for sure, seeing as he was better than byrd who was better than vitali who was able to tagteam to titles aginast weak opponents.

Oh yes the myth and legend of Ike Ibeabuchi. He must be one of the only fighters who has got better in prison and improved on account of inactivity. Its amazing what 2 career wins over borderline top 10 HWs in a short career in the late 1990s does for your legacy.

    AJ KOs Ike
    Fury decisions Ike
    Wilder decisions Ike
    Whyte KOs Ike
    Usyk UDs him
    Parker UDs him

Ike would be around the lower part of the top 10 in todays HW division. This is exactly where his carer was heading back in the late 1990s

People saying Ike would lose to a mediocre talent like Joseph Parker are doing Ike, and his once formidable ability, a serious disservice... He was clearly capable of fighting at a level above what we've ever seen from Parker.

Feel free to actually watch the Tua bout and then tell me Parker has ever accomplished anything close to that kind of performance.
