The problem for Bakole is that he is firmly in the "who needs him" club. Not a money maker but very dangerous, especially if the sparring stories are to be believed. Also unsure what the situation is with Cyclone. Is he still with them? Even if he is can't recall them putting on any shows this year which is worrying regarding their future.
Go for a hughie fury type name next or do you need move him quicker than that ? Was a decent level jump back in after a bad loss will boost his confidence do go that sort level or a bit better level?
Got to aim above Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury level and go for someone who will give him a fight to test the heart. No point chasing a skirt all 12 rounds feeling a few feather slaps now and again.
Billy mentioned he is no longer with Cyclone. If he didn't lose to Hunter I have no doubt he would not have got the call to fight Wach in Poland. Take Chisoras next fight I think most people would have rather seen Chisora v Bakole than Chisora v Gash ! But Hearn is hoping to do Chisora v Allen so doesn't want Chisora in a risky fight.
I would chase Pudding Whyte or Pudding Chisora as any future World Champion should be able to come through both. A tick over fight would be Price or the winner of Brown v Allen.
Probably not in the near future I would have thought. Couldn't imagine any UK prospects wanting to risk fighting him at this stage so maybe more overseas opponents at around Wach's level would be the way to go?
Excellent win for Bakole in the other guy's backyard. I wouldn't write him off as a major player in the division. It's not like he was laid out cold against Hunter. He was out-hustled by a very underrated & capable fighter. The 10-rounds he did with Hunter may end up doing him a world of good. I think you can put Bakole in with most of the top 20 heavies out there & he would be a decent chance of knocking them off. Fast Eddie needs talent for his shows & should pick him up.
