Loma and Crawford have the best skills, that`s the only way you can compare fighters P4P, Crawford has more power, but he`s a bigger fighter, I supose you could compare power by the effect Loma`s punches have in his weight class, he`s not the most powerful puncher in that regard but when he puts a bit of mustard on his shots they have good power, he throws pitty pat punches because they are faster and take les energy, he uses his jab to draw counters etc. Bud is certainly a bigger puncher in his respective weight class, his punches had way more effect on Horn than Manny`s did and Manny is a harder puncher than Loma.

No. I think Crawford, Spence, and Inoue are better fighters than Loma, but that's an unpopular opinion to have on this Euro dominated forum, where people think that Loma and Usyk started the sport.

Totally agree they are easily the two most skilled guys in the sport. I think Loma's raw power is slightly underrated due to the fact he rarely ever if ever really sits on shots and plants and follows through. His stopapage wins are way more down to placement, set up, timing, and accuracy and he does a phenomenal time varying the speed and power of his punches and setting traps and what not.

Loma is easily and without a doubt one of the most incredibly skilled and boxers ive ever seen -- if not the most. I also he the is one of the few boxers foolish enough to "do it the right way" and not take or rely on PED's and stuff like that which on the end will catch up to him especially the older he gets. Skill can only get you sa far, especially when your fighting a weight class above your natural maximum weight class to begin with.

Boxing isnt all about skill, the physical and athletic equations will always be there. What good is "doing it the right way" when there are so many fighters with whom the rules mean nothing to? It straight up foolish and sucked ****.

It all goes back to his legacy he wants to leave and for it to never be questioned or tainted by any special treatment or preferential A-side favoritism and all that comes along with it. Noble -- absolutely and loaded with character and integrity and I'm glad he has stuck to his guns on it --in some ways.

Boxing is a sport but its a combative sport. It just doesnt make any sense to me why such an incredible fighter would handicap themselves so badly when hes alright fighting a weight class one up from what I think is his absolute max against numerous fighters who will ruthlessly take chance after chance to gain any competitve edge against all there opponents. I mean matches -- however unlikely -- can be life or death or leave a fighter with serious disabilities moving forward. I respect him as much as anyone for the nobleness of his actions but to me its just foolish. Regardless, I wish him the beat.

His recent showings have dropped him a tad, as has Crawford's last showing. If Inoue destroys his next opponent, in the WBSS, I'm moving him to #1. Loma is fighting Linares' left overs next, after having just fought Tank's son and having a but of a tough time. A win over Crolla won't do a thing to stop Inoue from leap frogging him.
