Who's the best, well known boxer Conor McGregor (0-1) can beat at 154 lbs

    First of all, make it realistic. For example, I think McGregor could beat this old, small, shot to **** Paulie. Don't go mentioning midgets or people like Ray Leonard who have been retired for years.

    Could Conor take Berto at this point? Devon Alexander? Victor Ortiz? Shane Mosley?

    Before you move this to MMA forum, this is a BOXING question as Conor has competed in a BOXING match, don't be petty.

    He can move up to 160 and beat Golovkin left handed or right handed in his case. I’d favor Mcgregor over Gvozdzyk and Kovalev as well

    Think he would be a solid fringe level contender. Falls short at world level like he did against Money May

    Any boxer would just keep out of his way for a couple of rounds and let him gas. His stamina is ****ing awful for a professional athlete.

    Why would any decent boxer keep out of his way? They are supposed to be the more experienced ones and dominate him from the bell

    He won rounds vs Floyd lol.

    He only got stopped cause it was his first fight and he fought for 12 rounds, no pro debuter ever does that. He has obvious talent.

    I do not get the elitist mindset of some people here. McGregor did well vs Mayweather. I have no doubt that he would be top 10 at 154 or 160 in a year or two.
    Would not be surprised if he managed to pick up a title.

    Floyd was 40 years old, giving up visible size, and didn't train for the fight. McG won 4 rounds before gassing out and got walked down then TKO'd by the old man.

    I feel like every boxer would have an advantage that Floyd didn't. They know how McG would actually box. From stance to speed to footwork and obviously tendencies. Nobody knew that before. It looked awkward and goofy and wasn't what anybody visualized going in but hey, it put on a show for a little while. That said, no top 20 boxer at junior middleweight loses to him.
