"May" get 50/50 is what he said, he also said, he doesn't want to pay Wilder 50/50 because he doesn't deserve it. He's simply saying if Wilder's profile and ability to draw grows enough in the US it's conceivable it could be 50/50 at some point but only when he brings as much to the table as Joshua.

Even if they do offer 50/50 that isn't Wilder's only demand. It has to be on Showtime PPV because of "loyalty" apparently and the potential to earn more, so the offer for 50/50 will have to come from his team not Hearn and currently there is no offer from team Wilder.

Also Wilder has stated he doesn't want to be tied down for 2 fights, it's a one fight deal, no rematch clause, which Hearn has stated in previous interviews he'll never agree to any deal without a rematch clause regarding Joshua.

So even if the 50/50 offer is made by Wilder and Joshua agrees to the split there's still a lot of hurdles Wilder has placed that will prevent the fight happening.

An ancient dragon from the mythical island of Kyoo Barr who's so old he needs virgin's blood to allow him to fly, and a young but overweight dragon from the Kingdom of Brye Tain who spent the last two hundred years sniffing treasure up his nose and calling all the other dragons dossers.

Urrrrrr, hold on a minute, you expect AJ to give Wilder 50/50 when he has 3 of the 4 major belts, has far more commercial value and is a PROVEN PPV fighter. Wilder has one successful PPV fight under his belt that was more down to Fury's ability to sell and hype a fight as opposed to Wilders childless, loutish efforts. AJ is a twice unified champion, and Wilder...............isn't

Those pallets aren't going to stack themselves, get back to work. You can carry out this little Matchroom "numbers man" fantasy in your own time.

    Friendly reminder...

    Fury Wilder

The first half was even, Fury was hitting elbows, air and gloves but Malignaggi attributed everyone of these to some masterclass in punching. Racoon-face Paulie was asserting Fury had won from about the second round, it was among the most biased commentating I've ever heard.

Fury showcased superior defensive skills in the second half of the fight, but got dropped twice and very nearly stopped. At most he won by 2-3 rounds, and that's being generous and attributing sticking his tongue out and waving to the crowd at the end of each round as being part of overall skill shown, which it plainly isn't.

There's more to winning fights than pivoting your hips and doing a *******ised version of the Philly-shell in the corner. Landing effective punches is a thing, and Fury barely did. All this talk of "Wilder almost getting stopped" is absolute garbage.

inb4 "everyone else says" - IDGAF. I go on what I judge and assess. Hype is a thing in boxing folks. FWIW, I thought Wilder was extremely lucky indeed to be given extra time at the beginning at the 7th or 8th round against Ortiz. Lucky as in, he may well have lost without it.

I reckon even Paulie Malignaggi has slightly more knowledge of the sweet science than your good self.

    IBO? (LOL)

    * DAZN USA offered Deontay Wilder more per fight than they are paying Joshua (and now Hearn is talking 50/50)
    * Deontay Wilder has the WBC Heavyweight Title ... the most prestigious belt in boxing ... the GREEN Belt.
    * Deontay Wilder is the most famous boxer in the world (http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/26113613/espn-world-fame-100-2019)

    • WBC most laughed at, corrupt organisation? Yep
    • Offered more money than AJ? Yep still not enough for Wilder as it got declined. Peasant money.
    • Meanwhile AJ already has more money in the bank... like REAL money
    • Wilder most famous boxer on ESPN? COOL - I have been informed by a poster in this thread that nobody watches ESPN.

ESPN is an unknown as Wilder, so moot point.

    Cheers,

If and when Joshua smokes Wilder and Whyte smokes Ortiz

USA fans will have a nervous breakdown, they will get flamed for months on here.

Ive been expecting them to cave and offer 50-50. But if Wilders side demand it is shown on Showtime then DAZN are out of the question and DAZN are the ones who offered Wilder 100 or 120 million not Hearn, AJ or Matchroom. So if Wilder looks for 50-50 with a guarantee of 40 or 50 million im not sure Hearn or AJ is guna be willing to cough up that much of a guarantee.

Personally i think the PBC need to be coming to Joshua with a 2 fight offer with a guarantee of 50-50 with a 50 million guarantee per fight for Joshua.
