How many American PPV buys has AJ generated? How many tickets has AJ sold on American soil? Can we not agree that in order to maximize gains it would be wise to break into that market? His $25 PPV's and 50 million in revenue is great, but it's peanuts compared to what it could be.

Whether he's a troll or not...it doesn't change the fact that Fury is the best Name on either of their resumes.

I think it's fair to put an asterix on that though. Old Klitschko might still be that depending on how Fury goes on to look. And he lost (in reality) to Fury so doesn't really help Wilder.

Although not strictly American PPV, AJ is dipping his toe into the American market under the DAZN banner and with a different market model than the ludicrously priced 80-95 dollar PPV that is currently presented. The whole boxing viewing public would benefit greatly from the end of PPV and a more reasonably priced subscription, streaming service. Surely you agree with that and consequently I want AJ and Miller to be a huge success and that may also bring the Wilder/AJ match up closer as AJ will be more accustomed to the American market and the likes of Showtime or ESPN will make the necessarily big offer to AJ if that's the only way the fight can be made.

To be honest I don't think that Wilder will take anything but a 50/50 PPV split on home soil and with his choice of judges and officials.

So according to this guy Wilder has already turned down more money than they offered Joshua. So more than a 50-50 split.

I know it’s BS but you gotta laugh at the desperate attempts to defend Wilder now. Mind bubbling.

The problem with the whole 50/50 thing is Wilder will get likely 10x his previous highest purse while AJ may not even make double. That's because one fighters value is way more than the others. That's what I've been arguing all along, and this isn't Ali/ Frazier or Ali/ Foreman because we live in a different time. No boxer in recent history has sold out one stadium fight after another to the tune of 75 -90 thousand fans at the gate. It's unheard of and should be recognised when it comes to any negotiation. It's not rocket science, it's just business common sense. Wilder will never make anything like the same money as he will fighting AJ, whereas AJ could fight Fury and arguably make more. If Usyk has a couple of good performances at heavyweight, then that fight with AJ also grows massively.

AJ has other options, he's not even 30 and in his prime, Wilder on the other hand is 34, extremely injury prone due to his poor punching technique and on the slide. I just feel Wilder needs to do more to make the fight possible. AJ will already likely give up home advantage, which is huge as witnessed by Fury getting knobbled by the judges in the 'draw' with Wilder. I want to see AJ crush Wilder just like any other boxing fan but, the negotiation has to be on reasonable terms. 3 belts vs 1, twice unified champion as opposed to someone who is risk averse up until his last 2 fights. A guaranteed PPV success as opposed to an unproven one, I could go on and on with regard to one fighters value over the other.....

If Hearn and AJ give Wilder 50/50 they should be heralded as heroes for giving up so much to make sure this fight happens. But people will somehow manage to twist this into Wilders favor.

Fury is shook, he don't want that Wilder smoke and everybody knows it. He ran like a scaled dog, yapping behind the legs of ESPN. Hearn knows that Wilder's stock is increasing like wild fire and he can no longer dictate or make the phony claim that Wilder is the B side. The cream always rises to the top and Wilder is on the rise.

Not sure how looking damn awful in his last half dozen fights other than a punch raises a boxers profile tbh, sad times when boxing isn't about boxing and a boxing champ is an awful boxer

Hearn/AJ want that strap and are about to pay its ransom, only tards can't see it

EDIT = Prediction, Wilder retires after AJ smashes him in Vegas... if not late 2019 then early 2020.. Wilder skips off into the sunset with his 50%, good for him

Here's a prediction, Wilder is gonna tell Hearn where he can stick that 50% because he is in no position to call any shots. When Wilder knocks out Breazeale he will be on the fast track to that Mayweather vs Pac money and his end will be the Mayweather end. Hearn will be straight begging by then.

That's not really such an amazing prediction when Wilder's team have stated it has to be on a PPV platform to maximise potential revenue which with Hearn's deal with DAZN won't be the case for any offer he makes. So even if Hearn offers 50/50 or even 60/60 in favour of Wilder going off what Finkel said they'll reject it as they think they can make more on PPV.

This means any offer has come from Wilder but we are still waiting for an offer from team Wilder. Hopefully if they make an offer it won't be an email from Wilder which they refuse to meet to discuss or send a contract for like last time.

And lol if you think Wilder KOing Breazeale turns him in the A-side. Unless he finally sells out the Barclays, something he has repeatedly failed to do and smashes viewership records on Showtime, that ain't going to happen. Hell even if that happens that doesn't make him the A-side.

Joshua's about to make 25-30 mill for a nobody like Miller, how much is Wilder making for a fight with Breazeale?

I couldn't disagree more. Wilder has never nor will ever get the kind of money Mayweather got for fighting Pacquiao. Mayweather got somewhere in the region of 200 million for that fight. Wilders best purse so far was a guaranteed 4 million with an upside, likely no more than 10 million total. As stated already, Wilder has looked gash in his last few fights. Scraped past Luis Ortiz'nt', gifted a draw against a 2 1/2 year couch potato and 6 month fat camp attendee, Fury. Looked gash against Washington, Szpilka, Duhaupas, Molina and actually did a victory dance after harpooning the beached whale, Stiverne.....he should have been embarrassed to even be in the same ring as such a shameful, bloated specimen

And now we have Breazeale, who I actually quite like, seems like a decent family man and shows a lot of heart but, AJ HAS ALREADY DISPATCHED OF HIM EASILY AND PAINFULLY IN 7 LOPSIDED ROUNDS.
Such a fight does practically nothing for Wilders profile, it's not even on PPV, not because Wilder wants to 'give something back to the fans', more like because everyone knows it's not PPV worthy and no network would dare ask the fans to part with $75-80 for such a fight.

Hahahah just for KO ing AJ's leftovers??? Get real brah, the begging from Hearn to Wilder has being going on for over a year now anyway, all Wilder has ever done to make the fight is sent a personal email and then blank any replies ffs
Wilder will get his ransom money and a severe concussion, then we will never hear from the Alabama bambi ever again

    Let's see what happens :)

    I cannot wait
