Cheers man, I was booted for language, I think it was what I said to Ras. But ah well that's done with. That list is far from my own, but what's criteria? Also I'm pretty sure I have Ali very high up myself, moreso that others do anyway
I would breakdown my criteria as probably 75% resume 20% longevity/consistency 5% H2H Floyd's resume just is not great. His top wins dont measure up to the guys listed or many others for that matter. But he is maybe the GOAT in terms of longevity/consistency so he still makes it in to the top 15
Eh. I disagree that His résumé is lesser than Jones, but each to their own. I think Hopkins is the best for longevity (or Moore). I do agree that Leonard has a better résumé tho. Floyd has no win as good as an old Hagler, let alone a prime Duran or Hearns.
Dominance, competition beaten, weight disparities overcome, situational disadvantages overcome, longevity Dominance and competition beaten are the two most important IMO. Also, longevity is overrated
In merely alphabetical order for the time being as I'm planning on trying to order them properly in the near future: Armstrong, Charles, Greb, Langford, Robinson. There's a chance that one, maybe two of those names could drop out of my five once I've properly considered it.
Cool, is the competition beat name based? Or at the time? I just can't see Marciano that High (unless you put loads on Dominance, coz Marciano and Louis might be the two most dominate champions ever) but hey it's your list.

Believe it or not i consider Marciano's competition beaten pretty good, or at least above average. Loads of dominance. Literally only undefeated heavyweight champ (y'know, the weight class who's tagline is "where 1 punch can end it all"), AND the highest KO%. Not to mention he overcame pretty much every challenge in boxing, started late, shortest reach in HW history, cut up, behind on points, blinded, nose hanging off, still goes on to win. For weight disparity, Marciano was 5'11" 185lbs, his average opponent was 6'1" and 10lbs heavier than himself. Unlike, say, Ali, who had 2" of height and 15lbs on his average opponent. (ironic coming from me, who doesnt think weight matters all that much over 180lbs)
