Old man Orlando Salido already beat him. I'm still bummed to this day Nomaschenko didn't fight Miguel Berchelt when he was a SFW. That would have been a hell of a fight and in a way vindicated Nomaschenko for his loss to Salido.
How any boxing fan can say that is a bit bizarre to me. Obviously, having rivals and high level oppoents in the near future creates the next level interest that is currently lacking in Lomas career, and I also feel underwhelmed by his career if Im honest (yes yes I know the stats... his accomplishments per fight ratio is very high, but for me that doesnt compensate for having elite rivals on ones resume) So that being noted.... I still dont get how a boxing fan can say they couldnt care less. Loma is one of the best fighters to grace boxing in the last 20 years. His performances are often beautifully masterful. How can someone who likes boxing not be at least slightly interested in, and like watching, Loma fight.
Sorry but if you don't appreciate Loma you shouldn't watch boxing... We can all have tribal loyalties but some fighters should transcend them.. Loma is one current example IMO It's like being a football or tennis fan & saying you don't care for Messi or Federer... It's based on pure ignorance & bigotry some of the hatred he gets. Sad..
I take you`re shocked Loma is thinking of quiting rather than him being the best P4P fighter in the world, because plenty of experts agree with that viewpoint.
