To be overrated/overhyped when you eventually saw footage of them?

I really dont care Mark...why don't you check with Quora befor you post an answer.
Once again what your posting has nothing to do with anything here. That wasnt the question. Do us all a favor and get some professional help already. Its tiresome man. Just man up and do something about your issues already.

Sandy Saddler. His record suggests a top two Featherweight and possibly a top twenty man, pound for pound. But he's as underwhelming as they come on film. Guys like Riley and Flanagan made him look clueless for the most part and his style would have viewers turning their TVs off today.

    Jack Johnson.

Well, until I realised that his skills were based more on clinch tactics and parrying, rather than defense as I thought of it at the time.

He had a big right which is great but he didn't have a left or any real boxing skill. He didn't set up his power. Graziano was just a bomber.

Monzon. Fought like a robot, and did he hit as hard as claimed or was it the weak competition mainly the best being old natural welters. A.Joshua and D.Wilder lucky to be fighting in today's game. Mayweather Jr. At welterweight, Triple G. And Lomencheko, again, lucky to be fighting in today's game..

    Jake LaMotta.

Yeah, I saw the Raging Bull film before I saw any real boxing footage of him. When I did, my first thought was not only was he a lot uglier than Rob De Niro but the film made him look like 10 times a better fighter than he was in real life. Obviously he must have been a good fighter to have had the career that he did but I have to say I wasn’t impressed at all when I first saw real boxing footage of him.

Plus he missed a lot of good 160 pounders and feasted on welterweights. If he had met a prime Zale there would have been no trilogy.

Monzon was underwhelming on film, but there was nothing wrong with his opposition, and he fought plenty of good sized middles.Briscoe ,Valdez, Bogs,Benvenuti,Tonna,Licata,Mundine,Bouttier.etc
