This isn't just me being overly dramatic. Chris Mannix (115-113 DH) and Sergio Mora, who both work and do commentary for DAZN scored it for Hogan as well. This Should Be A Huge Story.

Get on Twitter, badger the WBO, protest, complain, email them. This is a flat out injustice. Not only did he win, but he flat out beat the hell out of Jaime in countless rounds. Dennis Hogan who was a 20 to 1 underdog for this match, deserves an Immediate Rematch. This was highway robbery.

    This was my scorecard.

    Round 1 Hogan 10-9
    Round 2 Hogan 10-9
    Round 3 Munguia 10-9
    Round 4 Hogan 10-9
Round 5 Munguia 10-9, very close
Round 6 Munguia 10-9, very close
    Round 7 Hogan 10-9
    Round 8 Hogan 10-9
    Round 9 Hogan 10-9
    Round 10 Hogan 10-9
    Round 11 Hogan 10-9
Round 12 Hogan 10-9, very close

    117-111 Hogan

These were the official scorecards. In MEXICO. So you know I'm not exaggerating.

    114-114
    115-113, Munguia
    116-112, Munguia

    Munguia MD

Hurricane Hoganmania should be running wild in the streets of Kildare and Queensland today, but instead once again, the same refrain plays out, like its done so many times before. The corrupt scumbag judges fill their cards out in advance for A-side player, and guys who work their entire life for their big moment, then reach out and grab that moment by the throat, and squeeze it for everything its worth, and achieve the dream, get a swift kick in the nuts and spit in their eyes for their valiant should be winning effort. It's absolutely appalling.

This is why I stopped watching boxing, well at least it doesn't interest me because of this reason. Tired of seeing robberies to favor the "more profitable" fighter, or the American or Mexican or the "network" fighter. It also includes my favorite fighters, for example Sergio Martinez, who was gifted a win in Argentina but was also stolen a win from his fight with Cintron. Hate this stuff.

It is poor when a guy gets to the most important night of his career, prepares long & hard for it, travels to the other side of the world, delivers the goods with an emphatic win & then has supposedly neutral judges say, "no, actually, you didn't win".

He did win. Clearly. They just weren't prepared to give him the decision.

The only way this gets remedied is if Mexican Mungo moves up in weight.

The WBO should do the honourable thing & let Hogan fight for the vacant title.

“I wanted to give the victory to my people,” Munguia said. “He would hit me in the head, head-butt, hold, and not let me get into my rhythm. I was getting frustrated. I also got a little bit tired. I think the difficulty of me getting to 154 might be a problem. It could be. I’ve got to talk to my promoters at see what will happen,”Munguia said.

I know it can’t be easy for him to make 154 he is massive but you just knew second he had a bad performance him and his team would pull this one out of there arse.

I agree with him that he got frustrated and tired.

The best punches he landed were off the break.

This confirms pretty much either one or both of these things:

    1. That the atmosphere favouring Munguia brainwashed the judges (It needs to stop, and stop NOW)

    2. That Goldenboy paid the judges in the case of this situation, to favour Munguia if it is close

Are goldenboy stupid or what? There's only so many times you can play the same card before people notice what's going on here! They've done this over and over with Canelo and now it's trickling down to the rest.

I wish they'd put in a rule that forces the Judges to put some noise cancelling headphones on so they can just judge what's in front of them. I've had enough of Judges giving rounds away because the crowd cheered more in that round. The crowd should not have an effect on judging...

There's going to be an investigation.:ARMS1: Sadly they can't reverse it, but it might lead to a rematch, hopefully in the Land Down Under.
