It's just crazy. This is a close fight that could have gone either way. I watched it live and thought Munguia nicked it, 115-113. Now we've got all this manufactured outrage over nothing.

    Round 2: 10-9 Hogan

    Round 10: 10-9 Hogan
    Round 11: 10-9 Hogan
    Round 12: 10-9 Munguia

High pace from both fighters at the beginning, they know last round might decide it although i think Hogan should be clearly up on the cards by at least (!) two rounds. Munguia looking busier in the first minute although he didn't land a lot clean but he's throwing and pressuring. Hogan looks tired, he's on the backfoot and trying to clinch if Munguia closing the distance. The Mexican is throwing and throwing. Or better said swinging and swinging. Munguia edging the first half of the round with activity and pressure. Hogan doing better in the second half, landing three good shots but Munguia still pressuring and he's busy, Hogan looking tired, he tries to clinch and hold, landing another good left hook though. Ugly round overall. Big finish by both guys but Munguia edged the round simply on activity, landed much more shots and Hogan looked a bit negative there with all the clinching and holding.

    115-113 Hogan

The best case scenario i can see for Munguia is a draw here. Hogan should have won it though. He looked **** in the last round to be fair and it's always bad to finish a fight in such a negative way but he did well and deserves at least a draw here. 116-112 Munguia is awful. 115-113 also but at least it's not out of order.

...alright, I'll play. Of course, people are going to lambast me as biased unless I have this wide for Munguía, since I have long been a skeptic of his and have always held a fond view towards Hogan (even though I never expected him to be in a position to become a world champ ...guess I underestimated how poor the 154lb division would prove with a paper champ like Munguía :nusenuse:) so not sure how much throwing in my two cents will help the cause..

Haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like the perfect kind of fight for a rematch

    Round 1

Munguía is already looking a bit perplexed by Hogan's rapid circular movement, lunging and missing with the jab as Hogan peppers him with his own. Munguía is egged on by Olé chants from the crowd, but goes the first two minutes without throwing a single power shot. Just high jabs missing by a mile and some grazing jabs on the belt line squatting in as Hogan continues to cut donuts around him. Lots of feints by Hogan, setting up dart-in jabs, scoring far more often and much cleaner with his than Munguía. Neither man has thrown or landed a power-punch.

    10-9 Hogan

Damn!! Mexican fans are brutally honest!

Munguia is getting A LOT of s*** on his social media by his fans.

    Round 2

Munguía is plodding after Hogan, trying for a left hook downstairs but Hogan pulls the carpet out from under him, skittering away from the ropes and sucking in his gut to make him miss. Hogan is peppering Munguía with the jab while dancing around him, taking quick backward steps in multiples to slip the Munguía double jab. Hogan is swaying away every time Munguía telegraphs his thrusts off the lead hip, and then boomerangs in with his own counter jab or 1-2 before continuing to circle on his toes, forcing Munguía to keep rotating on a spit. They collide for a body shot exchange before the bell, hooks thudding both ways.

    Round 3

Munguía is walking Hogan down, not throwing much, just intimidating him with his presence, marching up with both hands low, occasionally lumping out a jab, Hogan fencing with him on the backfoot, not committing enough with his lean-in to score his own counter jabs. Lots of clinching. Munguía is chopping with the right and catching Hogan in glancing fashion as he ducks. Munguía is now swiping out a backhanded jab into the guard, Hogan batting it down on his right palm, as Munguía charges in with a clubbing right hand which Hogan leaps backward to dodge.

    10-9 Munguía, close

    Round 4

Munguía is trying in vain to bait Hogan into a cat-fight in the middle of the ring, pawing down at him with frenetically with both hands, but Hogan isn't taking his bait, just poking in straight flush counters with both hands while remaining leaned outward at mid-range and keeping up a lateral jog on his toes. Hogan is able to absorb some of Munguía's torpedo rights downstairs by lowering his left forearm, shielding his flank. Hogan is leading Munguía from corner to corner, ambushing him with leaping right hands and tying up before starting all over again. Munguía looks tired, chasing and missing. A few glancing body shots by Munguía when he forces his way in, but always bettered in each instance by a parting counter head shot from Hogan.

    10-9 Hogan

    39-37 Hogan
