2 close rounds. SEVEN CLEAR for Hogan. There's no pathway to victory for Munguia. I think we know what you're smoking if you're willing to pathetically lower youself to shill for Munguia. Oscar's c***.

Looks like Glen Rushton and his merry men got a taste of their own medicine.

You're cross with Rushton because of the Horn vs. PAC decision, yea? And I'm asking you wtf does that have to do with Hogan?

Did not watch, but am not surprised.

It's what turns people off from watching this sport, a sport that imo is the best sport in the world.

All popular up and coming fighters have to do is last until the end of the fight and they'll get the nod, it's actually a load of crap.

It's only when they fall out of favour or cash out is when they even have a chance to take a loss on the cards (And of course that loss 99.9999% of the time is to a fighter who is rising in the ranks with good popularity)

Boxing is turning into WWE. It's truly pointless to even watch at times because you know there's no way they're losing that fight even if they lose in the eyes of the viewing public. Boxing politics will always be in play.

Other sports at least try to hide the corruption in one way or another and are good at doing it. Boxing isn't even good at doing that, they're so open and transparent with it it but they continue to do it because there's no consequences in doing so.

The judges and myself saw it differently.

And I'd prefer my countryman (Hogan) to win any day.

Seeing as you took the choice to resort to an ad hominem/ homophobic slur because your OPINION differs from mine makes it clear that you have a bias against any fighter associated with De La Hoya, and this makes no constructive argument possible.

Eh, don't buy it. I'm an American, and I get pissed all the time when Mexicans or Russians get robbed by American fighters. But... if you genuinely think Hogan lost, rewatch it, you didn't score it properly. And give me a break with what the judges saw. The only thing they saw was green.

I have zero bias for or against GB fighters, I hyped Munguia long before anyone knew who he was, I picked him to upset Ali. He just happened to deserve to lose, so I'm being fair and balanced.

As far as homophobia goes.... yeah okay. I'm probably the most openly pro-gay rights person on this forum. Nice try though.

Good post. I'm getting murdered over on the Irish boxing thread for suggesting Hogan lost. But he just didn't do enough to take a title from a Mexican in mexico.

When I tell people I watch boxing they tell me they aren’t interested due to “fixed fights”

I watched the telecast replay from Mexico and they were hyping and yelling even when Munguia was missing big punches from the 50 yard line:duh
If anything the home crowd got into the head of the home judges and maybe Oscar had a hand in the pockets too:deal:

Saw Munguia in Houston vs Inoue. He puts Mexican asses in seats, and that's really it. Nothing about his ability is special whatsoever.

A lot of fighters are going to be robbed blind like this. He'll get 10 more wins before he's fed to Canelo.

You guys better get used to it, whatever you're seeing with Munguia and Clenelo will be magnified 10x with Ryan Garcia.

Well, I think those are "budge on 'em rounds" Essentially, close rounds that could have gone either way. You may not agree with my scoring, or the judges who scored close (114-114) or 115-113 Munguia or identically to what I scored.

These are differences of interpretation on CLOSE rounds, not the kind of corruption or malfeasance that some are alleging. What we are seeing in this thread is a blatant overreaction.
