    Its not so much a rebuttal, as much as it is me simply being amused by the faux outrage many boxing fans will no doubt express over this and hold over Wilders head while simultaneously listing Mike Tyson as one of their favorite fighters of all time.

    Personally I just think Wilder is a consistent target of hypocritical and double standard criticisms.

    What a piece of work. The guy is stupid as well as unbalanced. This should be the answer to all the posts about why he is not admired etc. Karma has a way of being a *****. Best watch out for what we ask for in life.

    Meh it's just him trying to sell the fight, it's not exactly a match up that is having everyone clamouring to hand over their money to see and so he says something outlandish to garner attention from the media and fans. Would that article of been written had he not said something so offensive or would we be talking about it now if it was just an interview with him saying how much he respected Breazeale and that it was going to be a good fight?

    Now does that make what he said right, obviously not, he's choosing money over morality. He is happy to be a bad role model for the fans as long as it pays him more. If you're going to criticise him, criticise him for that, because I don't for a minute believe he wants to hurt Breazeale badly or wouldn't feel remorse should something bad happen. Remember this is the guy that took up boxing to help his daughter.

    I disagree. I think it's marketing from the 1990's and there are more sophisticated approaches that would deliver better results.
